Yamaha has announced a replacement of the X-Max 250 after the revealing the all-new Yamaha X-Max 300 in Europe.
The new maxi scooter will be powered by a 292cc single-cylinder engine, which churns out a maximum power of 27.6bhp at 7500rpm with a peak torque of 29Nm at 5750rpm.
The 2017 X-Max 300 features Blue Core technology, which Yamaha claims to offers higher performance with increased fuel efficiency. The scooter will be A2 license friendly and in line with the Euro 4 regulations that will come into effect in January 2017.
The Blue Core technology offers an optimized valve shape and timing as well as a compact hemispherical combustion chamber with a high compression ratio.
ABS and traction control will be a standard feature of the Yamaha X-MAX 300. The scooter comes with an all-new chassis and is the first scooter to feature motorcycle style front forks.
Yamaha X-MAX 300 will be available in three differ color variants – Lunar Grey, Milky White, Quasar Bronze. It will be available from March 2017 in Europe.
