Vyrus, an Italian motorcycle manufacturing company initially worked along with Bimota in developing the evolutionary motorcycle Bimota’s Tesi. Vyrus motorcycles stand apart from the regular bikes by the use of its Hub-Center steering front suspension arrangement. The Vyrus 986 M2 is equipped with the Honda CBR600R in-line four engine which produces 125 bhp at 13,000 rpm. Vyrus was aimed to produce motorcycles only for racing at first in 2011 and successfully made attempts in Moto2 races from 2015. As by its uniqueness and more demand from the fan followers, now with 50 limited editions, the street version Vyrus 986 M2 motorcycle comes on-road available to the customers.
The 986 M2 is both a racing bike and an homologated motorcycle with a license plate for road use but also a collector’s treat since are produced only 50 units. The customer can choose to build one with its engine of a donor Honda CBR 600 RR because Vyrus supplies a kit prepared for the processing, or all made to measure. According to Vyrus philosophy, there is a range of accessories to decorate the bike of dreams and adapt to the client’s taste.
Front Racing Master Cylinder, Brembo Racing Calipers, Rear Racing Calipers, High-Performance Shock Absorber, HP Hydroforming Exhaust are the key features of the Vyrus 986 M2.
Further, Vyrus explains, “In Vyrus we combined the creativity of Yutaka Igarashi and craftsmanship of Sam Matthews to realize the extravagant but extremely reactional of the 986 M2. Our sportbike contains highly technological content and aerodynamic concepts to match the performances at Vyrus style as many years, our laboratory offers its customers.
The 986 M2 is the only approved bike between racing bikes and is built with technologies actually used in competitions. It is not a simple copy “industrialized”, is not the usual replicas of bikes used in racing. It ‘s same as race bike but equipped with arrows and lateral stand.
The 986 M2 is also available as a kit. The customer can purchase a version of the frame with suspension and bodywork to fit his own motor Honda CBR 600 RR and then he can use it on track for sporty driving or for Moto2 races. Vyrus is cutting-edge!”
