Yamaha Motor Co has launched the new 150cc YZF-R15 based street fighter version in Thailand named as Yamaha M-Slaz. The bike made its debut at the Thailand Auto Expo and is also tagged as MT-15.
Yamaha M-Slaz borrows certain elements from its faired sibling YZF-R15 V2.0 like the deltabox frame. Bike is priced at 89,500 Thai Baht which is approximately Rs 1.66lakhs in India.
The bike features new upside down 37mm front forks suspension and mono suspension at the rear. It also features Split seat, wide handle bar and new side fenders on the both the sides of the fuel tank. The bike will be available in four colour options.
In terms of performance Yamaha M-Slaz is powered by the same 149cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine mated to a six speed transmission.
The Indian launch of the Yamaha M-Slaz has not been confirmed by the two-wheeler major but we are likely see this street fighter motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2016.
