True motorcycling enthusiasts rarely need an excuse to take their motorcycles out for a spin. Some are solo rides aimed at a little soul-searching, some are weekend rides with friends for a cup of coffee, and some are aimed at just unwinding after a rough week. But there are some rides that bring with them a sense of occasion.

Over the past few years, the motorcycling scene in India has exploded. After what seemed like a decade or so of steady building, it has grown exponentially. As such, where there were a few riding groups here and there, now there’s a ton of them, and it is heartening to see that. The reason is simple: humans love a sense of belonging, and what better way to do that than motorcycles.

While we are in touch with motorcycling groups all around India, thanks to rides like the #roadTripUnited, we are also not averse to joining rides organised by other groups every once in a while. So on the occasion of India’s Independence Day, we joined Kafira Riders for their Tiranga Trail Ride 3.0.

Kafira Riders is one of the more active groups that we know of. They get together and ride fairly consistently, but as we mentioned earlier, some rides are meant to mark an occasion, and it rarely gets bigger than Independence Day. We have had our own outings where we celebrated it in our own unique way… with motorcycles, of course.

But the charm of riding with around 300 riders is something else entirely. Kudos to Bharat from Kafira Riders for the flawless execution of such a massive ride. We joined as community partners, riding our Triumph Rocket 3 R in its Acer-inspired livery. The destination of the ride was Murthal, a famous spot for riders in Delhi-NCR.

The ride itself was pretty amazing. Witnessing a massive group of motorcyclists riding in formation is something that never gets old. Just as much fun was the event at the destination. Castrol POWER`1 also had a key role to play in the fun activities that awaited the riders, along with some giveaways.

We are glad to have been a part of this ride and celebrate Independence Day with our fellow motorcyclists. As we leave you with the photos, we expect to see more of this from Kafira Riders. Finally, a big thanks to Castrol POWER1 for their support as well. Ride Hard. Ride Safe.
