After getting selected in the Road to Red Bull Rookies Cup race, Sachin Choudhary went to the Rookies Cup Qualifying. Sachin Choudhary was the first Indian rider to participate in Red Bull Rookies Cup and who competed the qualifying round in Spain.
Red Bull Rookies cup is considered to be a direct launchpad, which will lead up to the MotoGP
The 16 year old was among the 117 finalists who made it to the final selection held in Spain to determine the grid for 2017 season.
The Road to Red Bull Rookies race had its second and final round in which, Sachin Choudhary finished second in two and won the third race by a country mile. Aaron Gunawedena from Sri Lanka finished first in race 1 and 2. AS Alexander took the third spot of the podium on 2 occasions.
Although Aaron Gunawerdena won two races, Sachin Choudhary was declared as a winner for his mature attitude and was assessed on the improvement graph over the last two rounds and sessions.
Some advanced training sessions were conducted for Sachin Choudhary by team Suzuki Motorcycle India and Red Bull India before he left for the competition.
