A little while ago, we were in contact with Team Free Spirit Riders (Team FSR). They were planning a massive event to celebrate World Motorcycle Day. As you all know, here at xBhp, we’re always up for any community event that revolves around motorcycling. So predictably, we were more than up for it, and we joined Team FSR as the community partner for this event. 

Before talking about the event itself, let us give you a little background. Members of Team Free Spirit Riders visited a similar kind of World Motorcycle Day celebration in Bangalore. That was in 2019. It instantly left a mark on the team. Watching more than 5,000 riders in attendance, all drawn there thanks to their shared love for motorcycling, it was spectacular. Being a part of the brotherhood and witnessing the camaraderie among the riders left Team FSR wondering if something like that could be done in Delhi. 

As the thoughts were shared among the members and conversations around it began to flow, a blueprint of the idea started to form. Unfortunately, the plan was snubbed in the ideation phase thanks to a little problem called COVID-19. The pandemic swept across the country, and everything got stopped in its tracks. The whole country… the whole world came to a standstill. 

The pandemic has left the world reeling, and in some areas, we are still witnessing its lasting impact. Despite that massive setback, the idea remained. The itch to do something similar to what they witnessed in Bangalore remained. So, Team FST got to work again. Organizing an event of this magnitude is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. It takes a lot of planning and a lot of support. 

In 2023, Team FSR was able to organize a ride and an event for World Motorcycle Day. It took place in Gurugram and was joined by around 500 motorcyclists. Now, for World Motorcycle Day 2025, Team FSR was finally ready for a bigger one. Powered by Castrol POWER1 as their title partner, the longstanding dream came true. 

On the 22nd of June, 2025, Team FSR welcomed more than 1,000 enthusiastic and passionate motorcyclists for the World Motorcycle Day 2025 celebration. We also joined the team at the starting point, which is the iconic xBhp Dhaba in the Qutab Institutional Area, riding our Kawasaki ZX-10R, powered by Castrol POWER1, along with the Triumph Rocket 3 R and the Aprilia RS 457. 

It was a heck of an experience and a sight to behold watching so many riders and their machines in harmony as we rode to the event venue, Lotus Garden, Sector-37, Gurugram. Upon reaching the venue, we all welcomed Cyber Police Gurugram, who graced the event as the Chief Guest. 

As has been the case with xBhp and many more who have played a part in taking the Indian motorcycling scene further, Castrol POWER1 was there to support this celebration of motorcycling as well. With their world class engine oil that has proven its mettle on the biggest of stages, Castrol POWER1 also finds itself at the forefront of the ongoing motorcycling revolution in India and we would like to extend a big thanks and congratulations to them.

The event had everything one could ask for: from food to music and front stunt shows to other fun activities. Team FSR also thanked TVS Eurogrip for being the tyre partner, along with Aerostar, Artemis Hospital, and Royal Brothers, who came forward to support this grand event. 

We had a great time at the event, and we are proud to have been associated with Team FSR for their World Motorcycle Day celebrations as community partners. We look forward to more that is to come from Team Free Spirit Riders. Till then, Ride Hard and Ride Safe. 

We would like to extend our congratulations to Team FSR for this massive undertaking, and also, a big thanks for pushing the Indian motorcycling scene further up. With events like this, riders have the platform to show that motorcycling, in addition to personal joy, can also be used as a platform for a cause. Seeing the success of their very first World Motorcycle Day celebration, we cannot wait for what they come up with next.
