MRF Mogrip FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship, near Hyderabad was interrupted by police after villagers complained. Around 40 bikers were detained by Manchal police in Ranga Reddy district.
As per the police, the organisers held a rally on village roads of Thippaiguda without valid permission and violating rules of the Motor Vehicle Act. Cops further added that they took the bikers to the police station because the villagers complained about the bikers riding at high speeds.
The event was organised by Mazdayar K Vatcha, the CEO of Race Craft Moto Sport Manage ment in Hyderguda. The race was conducted between Muknoor and Thippaiguda villages near Manchal. And as per police, Permission on the Muknoor – Thippaiguda stretch was not taken by the organiser.
One of the organiser was even slapped by a cop and taken to police station along with 40 race participants which included 3 women bikers as well.
Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, Rachakonda police commissioner said,
“Our people had to chase the bikers for over two hours. Villagers panicked. The event was organised without permission from police and I will look into allegations of highhandedness by our men.”
As per Times of India reports. A case has been registered against the organiser under section 188 of the IPC and section 189 of the MV Act. Participants were booked under section 189 of MV Act.
