Hero MotoCorp launched the New Glamour in Argentina. It is the first-ever global product launch by Hero outside of India. In the Central & South American market the new glamour is called ‘Ignitor’. Hero has made soccer legend Diego Simeone as the brand ambassador. After Tiger Woods, Simeone is the second global sports icons who has been signed with Hero as brand ambassador. With the entry in Argentina, Hero has a global expansion plans to widen its market potential and global presence.
Hero has introduced Hunk, Hunk Sports, Ignitor and the scooter – Dash for now and soon after more products from different segments are to be launched in the Argentinian market. Distribution part for Hero will be handled by Marwen SA in Argentina, the company established in 2004 and currently its manufacturing plant has a capacity of 5000 units per year in Villa Rosa Province of Buenos Aires. Starting with 40 dealers across the regions of Capital Federal and GBA and have plans to expand further.

We have already begun our brand building initiatives for Argentina by bringing on-board the Argentine legend – Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico de Madrid,” he added.
