Honda CB Hornet 160R Launched at an aggressive price to match it’s aggressive styling!
Honda bids adieu to 2015 with the launch of the Honda CB Hornet 160R. This is Honda’s 15th and final launch this year! The CB Hornet 160R is priced at 79,900 ex-showroom Delhi and offers aggressive styling along with BS-IV norms compliance.
Honda has also launched an exclusive mobile app for CB Hornet 160R booking. Yes, you heard it right, you can book the bike via a mobile app. The app is available on android platform!
The Hornet 160R in Honda’s own words is, “faster, smarter, & sportier” machine that is target at Indian youth. This bike was first showcased at Honda’s RevFest event in August 2015. The bike goes on sale from today and will replace the CB Trigger in Honda’s stable.

The CB Hornet 160R definitely has got very stylish and contemporary looks and will definitely attract a lot of youngsters. It has also got an X-Shaped LED tail light, a muscular looking tank with carbon pattern tank cover, fully digital meter display, a short exhaust, and 140 mm section rear tyre fitted on a 5-spoke split alloy wheel. The bike will be available in 5 colors.
Honda CB Hornet 160R technical specifications
The bike is fitted with a 163 cc engine, which is tuned to deliver good low end torque and has got a compression ratio 10:1. it is also fitted with counter balancer to reduce the vibrations and HET (Honda Eco Technology) to give more miles per drop of fuel.
Other features include front and rear disc with Combi-brake system (CBS). The brake is fitted with 3-pot brake caliper, mono shock suspension at the rear, longer wheelbase, short turning radius, and optimum ground clearance! it is also fitted with a maintenance free battery. The viscous paper air filter has a life of 18,000 kms.
