Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India have launched the Road Safety Education Centre (RSEC) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Through this centre the company will spread awareness on safe riding in the city of Indore.
Honda’s Road Safety Education Centre was inaugurated Shashikant KanKane, City Superintendent of Police, Indore, Mr. Y.S Guleria, Senior Vice Present, Sales and Marketing, HMSI.
“Through various road safety initiatives, we have educated more than 7 lac individuals including women and kids. Since April 2015 itself, more than 1 lac people have benefitted at our 8 traffic-training parks across the regions,” said Guleria. The Road Safety Education Centre (RSEC) in Indore is another step in this direction.”
Promoting the road safety and ‘Women Empowerment’ in the city of Indore any female over 18 years of age can now learn to ride a two-wheeler at Road Safety Education Centre.
Honda has a team of skilled women safety instructors at the Road Safety Education Centre who will give training on how to become a independent rider in just 4 hours.
Children too would be encouraged to learn the do’s & don’ts on road safety through activities. For children from 5-8 years of age, special ‘Primary School’ Road Safety Education activity will be conducted.
