Kawasaki has recently revealed their latest addition to the “Z” series – the Z1000 R, and is set to go on sale from January alongside the base model Z1000.
The ‘R’ edition includes upgrades like higher-spec brembo brakes, ohlins suspension, and new color variants.
Powered by the 1043cc inline-four cylinder the Z1000 R edition is compliant with the Euro 4 emission limits. The new model also gets revised ECU settings.
The new high-spec brembo M50 calipers with the 310mm floating front discs are fitted to the Z1000 R.
It has got an Ohlins S46DR1S rear shock with a remote pre-load adjuster and revised fork settings.
The bike offers an adjustable shift-up light which illuminates the rev counter and it comes in a new color scheme of ‘Metallic Graphite Grey’ in addition to the ‘Metallic Spark Back’ scheme on the bas model.
According to the source, the price is set to be announced at the Motorcycle Live show at Birmingham’s NEC in November 19-25.
