Mahindra Partners has invested in Scoot Networks to bring electric scooter shared transportation in San Francisco. This financing round closes with Scoot Networks significant network expansion supported by a brand new fleet of 500 Mahindra Genze electric scooters.

The GenZe by Mahindra is the first urban transportation vehicle to be offered by the Mahindra Group. The compact design provides consumers with exactly what they need – ease of travel and storage. The GenZe 2.0 weighs less than 105kgs and its lighter than other motorized two-wheelers. The battery with integrated charger weighs around 14kg. The scooter has been configured to provide an optimal range of 48.2kms. The scooter can also be charged while riding.
Mahindra GenZe is dedicated for helping the urban commuter overcome the challenges associated with pollution, parking and the inadequacies of public transport.
