Motoped has created an interesting mix of a bicycle and a motorcycle called the Survival bike!
Survival bike is a purposeful motorcycle which is built like a bicycle with a horizontal single cylinder engine. It has upside-down forks at the front and mono-shock at the back. Braking duties are handled by single disc each at both wheels.
As claimed by the company, the remarkable thing about this bike is that it will take you up to 490 kilometres in one full tank combined with the optional side mounted fuel tanks. The engine is either a 49cc or a 125cc single cylinder unit. The claimed top speed of the bike is 38 kmph.
The bike comes with a universal rack attached at the back which can be used to carry various stuff. And it is designed to be ridden by a patented Jackshaft pedal drive system on dual purpose tyres.
Motoped Survival Bike 49cc variant is priced at $3,199 (INR 2.19 lakh), while the 125cc will cost you $3,799 (INR 2.54 lakh).
