When the idea of xBhp was conceived, we never really thought about the scale or the future of what we were doing. We simply had one goal in mind: to further the idea of lifestyle motorcycling in India by building a community of like-minded people.

To that end, we have done all kinds of activities around motorcycling. From get-togethers to pan-India roadtrips, the community has been at the core of xBhp. To see how far we all have come now as motorcyclists is really heartening to see. From a group of 4-5 riders riding together on a weekend, to the multitude of community activities that take place frequently now. We really have come a long way.
We have immensely enjoyed participating in these kinds of activities, whether just as riders or as supporters. Recently, we attended Pakki Yaari 4.0, a fun ride and get-together of motorcyclists. Pakki Yaari was founded by Mr Gaurav Malhotra, and it is aimed at organising rides and activities to play their part in the growth of the motorcycling community.
Their name, Pakki Yaari, translates to true friendship and living up to that name, their rides and get-togethers are open to everyone, and there is no differentiation between people based on what motorcycle they ride. The only criteria for them is that you ride a motorcycle and you love it… not quite dissimilar from our own ideology of i, The Biker.

The ride started from Mukarba Chowk, where all the riders had gathered. We joined Pakki Yaari 4.0 as the official community partners for this ride. Dr Manan Chaturvedi, aka Shuttervedi, and Ankita Arora, aka HighHeelsMotorcyclist, went to represent xBhp. Manan rode our prized Aprilia RS 457 to the event while Ankita took her own Ducati Monster 821 to take part in this ride. After gathering at Mukarba Chowk and a brief about formation riding, we headed to Eden Resort, the venue for the event.
The ride was flawless as everyone adhered religiously to the formation. Upon reaching the venue, a lot of stories were shared over refreshments, and overall, it was a fun ride and a get-together. It was amazing to see the rider turnout and the brotherhood among the bikers. A big kudos to Pakki Yaari for a well-organised ride, and even more so, for their efforts aimed at bringing motorcyclists together and expanding the community further. We look forward to more such events from them, and from what we have seen, I think they are going to be just as fun… and then some!
