“A ride together for the love of motorcycling and music!”

On Sunday the 12th, xBhp had organized a ride and G2G for bikers from NCR. The plan was simple, meet, ride and enjoy a jam session with the musicians who we had first met on #theO2Ride.

The meeting point for the G2G was as always at the xBhp Dhaba at 7 and on the beautiful Sunday morning, bikers trickled in. As the numbers swelled the air was filled with the sound of laughter, high fives and of course roaring engines! Once we had congregated, we rode down to The Biker’s Cafe in Gurgaon. The ride was via the Gurgaon – Faridabad highway since we wanted to munch a few miles together before munching on breakfast at The Biker’s Cafe!

Around 170 bikers walked into the biker-themed cafe for an enjoyable morning. Proceedings started off with Sunny giving an introduction about the O2 Ride and the amalgamation of music and motorcycles, before handing over the mike to RJ Sachin from Red FM. He invited all the bikers present for the Riders Music Festival to be held on the 18th and 19th of February. The O2 Ride documentary also had its first screening there followed by an inspiration talk by Padmashree and Arjuna Awardee Deepa Malik, about her trials and tribulations towards winning a silver medal at the Paralympics in 2016.

It was then time for the jam session. Where live music was blasted out by #motoMusicians Akul Singh, Electronic Music Composer, Kartik Jetly – Beatboxer and vocalist, Kartik Gupta  – Guitarist / Vocalist and Puneet Vohra  – Guitarist / Vocalist. They got the party going real hard!

All the bikers present got a goody bag from xBhp and RMF and after a delicious breakfast, it was time for everyone to head home.

We thanks the xBhp Delhi Chapter, DRER, Bikers For Good, R.O.A.R, and I.M.R.G for riding with us and adding to the festivities. We thank the Bikers Cafe for the delicious breakfast and hospitality.
