This piece is dedicated to the new BluArmor C30, a revolutionary way of riding connected.
Group riders have been a staple for xBhp but the communication between participating riders has always been a challenge. While there have been a fair few attempts at resolving that, none of those come close to what the tiny BluArmor C30 accomplishes. Essentially a helmet communication device, the BluArmor C30 has transcended the very definition of the idea.
With the proprietary RIDEGRID MESH Intercom, it can connect up to 20 riders and keep them connected over a 1.2 km line-of-sight range. This makes riding together in a group easier than ever and mitigates the chances of losing the connection. Moreover, even if you get disconnected, the network is self-healing and will strive to reconnect as soon as the other device is in range.
The mic used in the BluArmor C30 works with an integrated algorithm that is proficient at suppressing wind noise so that the communication between riders is crystal clear. Moreover, the device features auto mixing so that you can listen to music while talking on the mesh. Talking about music, you get JBL Signature Sound Speakers in the headset for Hi-Def Audio. On top of all that, the BluArmor C30 is as prepared to brave the elements as you are. With an IP67 rating, it can endure a lot and keep up with most of your adventures.
Finally, the battery that powers this powerful little gadget can keep it running for 16 hours whether you are listening to music at full volume or the same amount of time in case you decide to test your endurance. With quick charging via a type-C port, the BluArmor C30 can go from 10% to 90% in an hour and 0% to 100% in an hour and 40 minutes. All of that… in a device that weighs a minuscule 70 grams!
Moreover, the BluArmor C30’s niftiness can go even further with the 360-Degree app designed for you to take full advantage of everything this device has to offer. Compatible with Android 7 and above or iOS 14 and above, the app features OTA updates so you never have to worry about firmware updates. You also get group controls, made easier with the intuitive interface of the app. The coolest bit though is the radar view. As the name suggests, it lets you track your buddies.
From barely working helmet intercoms to a well-rounded device like the BluArmor C30; now you know what we meant by technology coming a long way. And anything that facilitates motorcycling in any way, we celebrate! For the BluArmor C30, we gave the celebration a signature xBhp musical touch, thanks to Dr Manan Chaturvedi.
We went out with our Indian FTR 1200 and the TVS Ronin to put this little powerhouse of a device to the test. We returned so impressed that our resident musician, Shuttervedi, decided to pen down a melody to appreciate brands like BluArmor and the handy little thing their C30 is.
