“Become a Riderni” experiential training workshop organized by Delhi Royal Enfield Riders (DRER) in association with Riders Alliance Group (RAG)
Sunday 23rd April 2017, DRER organized an event for women aspirants across NCR on learning how to ride a motorcycle. Around 75 female enthusiasts from all parts of NCR, who were keen on learning how to ride a motorcycle, gathered at Throttle Shrottle, Gurgaon.
The event began with a short intro about riding, followed by an inspirational speech delivered by our very own Sundeep Gajjar aka motoGrapher where he set the tone of the event right by sharing his riding experiences and also about do’s & don’ts of riding a motorcycle. After that all the participants underwent road safety training conducted by Sarang Aneja, which was a prerequisite for the workshop.
The workshop began with testing the balancing skills of aspiring riders where all the aspirants were asked to ride a bicycle. Post that the basics of motorcycles were explained to all the beginners; the idea was to know your machine before you learn how to ride.
Finally, the training on riding part began with Leena, Manuj, Aakash & Krishan educating the riders about the basics of riding a motorcycle. The experiential workshop was conducted on Royal Enfield Himalayan, Classic & Thunderbird. The safety of all aspirants was taken care of and each one of them was provided the riding jackets, helmets & gloves.
The training was conducted in a controlled environment to ensure rider & trainer safety.
