Valentino Rossi’s Moto3 racing team, Sky VR46, has revealed a special livery for the upcoming race at Misano. The special paint scheme has been titled “Faster than light” and done by a street artist Laurina Daisy Duck.

A 7-member jury including Valentino Rossi, Guido Meda and Matteo Maffuci, made their selection out of 5 talented street artists. Laurina Daisy Duck has been assigned with the task of redesigning the motorcycles, helmets and riding suits for the VR46 riders Andrea Migno, Nicholas Bulega and Lorenzo Dalla Porta.
Rossi’s Moto3 team, as always, will continue to support young Italian talent to find their way in MotoGP arena.
On this occasion, Laurina Daisy Duck commented,
“The first thought that came into my mind after looking at the pilots of VR46 racing team was faster than light, and this is what titled my project. The concept of the sketch revolves around speed of light. These riders are incredibly fast on track and I’m in my work. I’m glad that I can contribute to the efforts of Sky Team Racing VR46 in my own way.”
