Suzuki Motorcycles India announced the appointment of Mr. Sajeev Rajasekharan as its new Executive Vice President for Sales & After-Sales. In this capacity, he will be responsible for driving growth in market share as well as delivering a great experience for all Suzuki customers.
Mr. Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL said: “We are delighted to have Mr. Sajeev on board at Suzuki Motorcycle India. He brings a proven track record of success across different product categories. We are looking for out-of-the-box talent with diverse experience to benefit from cross-category learnings. As Suzuki connects with a young customer group, Mr. Sajeev will bring his fresh thinking and new learnings from his vast experience in the dynamic consumer durables industry.”
Mr. Sajeev brings with him a wealth of experience from over two decades spent in Marketing, Sales and Operations.
He last served as Panasonic India’s Deputy Divisional Managing Director (Channel & Retail). He also played an instrumental role in setting up and developing Electrolux’s India (PE Electronics Limited) operations as COO of the company.
In his initial years, Mr. Sajeev worked with BlowPlast and Onida before moving on to Samsung where his successful decade-long stint in various roles culminated as head of Home Appliances Division.
