If bike is in good condition then there will be not issue about milage....if it is giving milage more than 35 then don't think and go for it...even apache have good build quality, raw power but lot of vibrations in lower rpm also...

Well if learning is your plan then this bike would suit you a lot. It has low ride height giving it amazing stability while cornering. It is decently powerful with crisp acceleration. And you can get the 160cc version if you don't want something too powerful.
The apache is one of the best bikes I've had the pleasure of riding in my life so far. So if you wanna learn definitely go for apache.

which means i have finally found what will be my first bike i was confused between the gixxer and duke. and bumped onto this thread accidentally. found some good comments about the bike too. this bike is stunningly beautiful to my eyes. fits my budget well too. that too with abs. i have only two queries, what is it with the vibration and is it bearable? and it has twin shocks at the back, which means it doesn't handle well compared to other bikes or what (atleast compared to gixxer?)? heading to nearest tvs showroom for testride anyway, asap! this bike is a looker!

                  Hi to every rider......
I have recently bought a new TVS apache rtr 160, the one with LEDs . I am quite excited about the bike and have waited for a long time own myself a ride... So the things that I am doubtful about my Wolf are mileage, top speed and vibrations as my friends suggested to opt for another bike, but I followed what my heart said...... But I really now fear that whether I would end up on the fate as they said my bike will prove them wrong............ The bike is only 4 days old.........

                  Expecting views with fingers crossed..........

I have always found this quote very inspiring "its not about what you have inbetween your legs, its about how you use them". I think you should not mind what others think about your decisions. If you are happy about the purchase then that is all that matters. Its a wonderful bike and you can be very proud that it accelerates the quickest in its category. Usually, rtrs are not meant for top speed. they are for quick acceleration. You must enjoy that surge of speed if you have one. Also complete the run-in period properly. Your bike will give more heat, more vibes, more cold/ early morning starting problems and less mileage. So don't worry. After the run-in period everything will be fine. With just 4 days, you can't judge anything about any bike. Let it take its own time to grow on you and then decide. If not, you're flooded with options to choose from later on Happy riding and ride safe following traffic rules!

                      Firstly hi ........
Hope that your ride always be delightful.......
Ya I don't regret getting the bike but was a bit confused that my expectation and reality would be as desired or not but as said patience is the most important thing to keep when it comes to bikes..........
I'll do the required during the run-in period and would try not to stress the bike.......
                      Thanks.......
                      Happy ridding......... Ride to explore.......

you can use the bike extensively post run-in period. I feel your expectations will be met with albeit comparing with bigger bikes is not a good way to meet your expectations. You can find a lot of well satisfied rtr 160 owners here in this site itself. Just get accustomed to it and use it well!
