That sounds like a very fast revving engine, or extremely short gears (or both!)
May be BAL will have 'Sprocket" kits to alter the ratio as "performance parts"Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Absolutely Satyen bro... with such a high revving engine, a sproketing upgrade would be a welcome mod to the bike (as most of the so called performance parts in offering from KTM does not make much sense to me) and I really hope it comes from the parent company, else, BAL would leave no stone un-turned to void the warrantyOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View PostBaaah - Click -Baaaaaah- Click - Baaaah Click

I am planning to own it on its launch day itself. I hope it will turn a good street bike. I will be using it for daily office ride, up-down 50 KM. 40 KMPH in 1st gear should be fun. The only worry for me is the suspension, I need softer front suspension which should be able to absorb the shocks coming to hand, my earlier ride P220 had very good suspension setup.

I have a strong feeling its gonna bring back a lot of memories of the glorious RX days for me. Lightweight, powerful, nimble, loud, fast-revving- a naked street hooligan. Surely keeping a tab on all the updates. You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

The front forks do have a decent amount of travel. Based purely on the specs, I would expect suspension to be good enough - let us wait and see what the reality would be.Originally posted by pawan_pullarwar View PostI am planning to own it on its launch day itself. I just called the pro biking showroom in Indranagar, Bangalore about the booking and now they say it starts from the month end, last week they said it will be in the first week of jan. Can any one confirm this? This wait is agonizing. Wish i could book it today.

Spoke to a PBK. Apparently, the launch was scheduled for today. But now has been postponed to the 23rd of Jan. They did not know (or were not ready to disclose) the reasons leading to the postponement.
EDIT: BSM says KTM is pulling out of the Ato Expo. Bajaj intends to focus on the 4-wheeler launch.Last edited by NikhilB; 01-03-2012, 04:34 PM.I like 'em Naked
Blah Blah Blah!

^^ Same here! Something seems to be brewing! They told me bookings open (tentatively) on 24th and god knows when the deliveries would commence!Originally posted by nithinkv View PostI just called the pro biking showroom in Indranagar, Bangalore about the booking and now they say it starts from the month end, last week they said it will be in the first week of jan.
