The actual figures will be available only after the deliveries start! But as a collection of experiences people had, most of them reported FE from 25 - 35 barring a few outliers. I took 2 TDs this saturday. 1st - revved very hard -> FE 25. 2nd - Max rpm of 7000 & FE - 35.Originally posted by sayank10 View Posti doubt that figure bigtime.anyway who's gonna ride duke sanely?
But again, those concerned about FE may want to wait for the owners feedback which i feel will be available in another 10-15 days (Some1 in Pune Probiking told me that deliveries could start in another 10 days)

Not 100% accurate! Ok, but then how much accuracy is there? & Accuracy is on higher side or lower side? ( Means does is show more FE than actual or vice versa)?Originally posted by sayank10 View Postthe fe figure showed by MID is not 100% accurate.Hero Honda Karizma

Where did you hear this information about deliveries starting in 10 days??? Because my younger brother says he saw a KTM 200 Duke on road...We live in Mumbai at Bandra West and this was at Leelavati hospital...so how did this person get the delivery of the bike so quick if deliveries are still yet to begin??? I am just about to call My KTM store manager in Kanjurmarg now, if what my brother saw was really a KTM 200 DUKE and he's never wrong with sightings...then I should have gotten my delivery too by now!!! I was there at the showroom and booked it on the 24th of January 2012!!! An ADVANCE booking!!! apparently I was supposed to be Number 26 booking of the day...So much for that...will update this thread when i get off the phone with the manager!!! I'm really angry about this now...Originally posted by ASSASSIN07 View PostThe actual figures will be available only after the deliveries start! UPDATE:- just got off the phone with the Kanjurmarg KTM Store and they ASSURED me that there have been NO KTMS delivered through their store or any other since the deliveries would be from March onwards ONLY...Phew!!! I'm going to truth serum my brother now!!!Last edited by joshzma225; 02-20-2012, 07:30 PM.Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

At least in Bangalore, the rev limiter was set at 7k-7.5K - so there was no question of revving it harder than that.Originally posted by ASSASSIN07 View Post1st - revved very hard -> FE 25. 2nd - Max rpm of 7000 & FE - 35.
Not sure how it was set with other PBK's.
Due to too many people lining up and literally jumping on to the bike, I could not get to fiddle around with the dashboard console to check for mileage figures.

i don't know the percentage of accuracy, but definitely it indicates more real time mileage.Originally posted by ASSASSIN07 View PostNot 100% accurate! Earlier, Rev limiter was not set in @ Pune. But now they also have it @ 7K rpm. Whenever u cross it, red light beeps & fuel supply cuts off!Originally posted by Shubz View PostAt least in Bangalore, the rev limiter was set at 7k-7.5K - so there was no question of revving it harder than that.

Bike has an ECM/ ECU, so i am hopeful that the information displayed is correct to atleast 90 % accuracy.Originally posted by sayank10 View Posti don't know the percentage of accuracy, but definitely it indicates more real time mileage.
To cross check it, there is no other way but to wait for the bike delivery & owner's feedback!Hero Honda Karizma

Either he took your case or he's surely wrong with his sightings!
