If the on road price is any higher than 95k then I'm going to have second thoughts about this bike. It's supposed to a bike which the common mass can afford, and if it goes over a lakh it's going to fall into the category of the R15 and the duke, which they obviously would not want, and I don't think they would do either. I am expecting an on road price of somewhere around 90-95 thousand.

Hey its 1-1.10, so we're not sure about the exact pricing.. 10k (assuming) extra for only tires is not justifiable, esp. since they're not additional but they would be replaced..Originally posted by inder.cool View PostSo, that premium version(extra 10k) is JUST for the tyres or any cosmetic changes too?
Let's wait for another few weeks and everything will be clear.. as of now we're just going by words, nothing solid (proof)...

hmm, nice product, heard of one using it on cbr,the guy was quite satisfied.Originally posted by payeng View PostThe rear (radial) tyre of the R15 V2.0 is of he same size/profile as that on the P200NS.. i.e 130/70 x 17
One can also get one of the best road tyres the Pirelli Sport Demon, which is available in a variety of sizes including that of the P200NS Front (100/80-17) and Rear (130/70-17 ).

so soft compound tyres for all bikes?are the new mrfs ready?Originally posted by antz.bin View PostIf we know anything about Pulsars from the past, rest assured, that the only version which will sell will be the premium one. There has never been 2 (premium and non premium) versions of the same Pulsar. Thats is what Hero Honda was for (= Optional disc brakes / electric start). So lets not give them any such *brilliant* ideas.

If you check the ownership thread, you will realize that the rumored revlimiter is not a rev-limiter but just a user configurable warning light. You *can* rev it till the moon even during run-in (not that it is recommended) but the only thing being the warning lights will come on to warn you that you are revving too high.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostThats a damn good question..
I never knew of this proposal being done on Duke. guess the Duke is taking its business in India very seriously.
Duke owners and Senior Members, please reply to this Question.Last edited by antz.bin; 03-07-2012, 01:54 PM.

In same shoes!Originally posted by saipranav View PostJust checked the Duke 200 ownership thread... for the first time... the mileage claims are unbelievable... not im more confused as to what my next bike would be :P
If mileage reports remain consistent, Its duke with no second thoughts.

Who would believe if i said i had suggested Bajaj the coloring of mid panels black. No one would. Bajaj took the suggestion and did exactly the same.
Thank you Mr Tandon for listening to us.
Ride safe future P200NS owners!

To be owner of Pulsar 200NS

My point is if something like that is gonna be/is being done on the duke 200 as to safeguard the engine's life and performance, will/can it be also done on the p200 NS also...?

Thanks alot Satya for updating the pic. The bike looks nice. Don't get me wrong but I am not able to identify the 2-tone treatment on ur bike.Originally posted by nitrosatya View Post^Sure bro. Year 2009. You have to see this in person to appreciate the change.

Also when I first drove the 220 DTSFi it was like the best bike I ever drove till that time atleast. Some people say that it is available on order.. is it true?? Why they stopped it.. Only becz of high price tag... or something else..?Last edited by Enthusiastic; 03-07-2012, 09:46 AM.
