It looks very neat and cleanly finished work. Do you still possess this p220...i mean the dts-fi...i just asked because nowadays its a rare piece of art and machinery you know....hey why don't you add more finese to that two tone treatment and some how try to extent that two tone slightly into the tank section also just like on the p200 NS.i could look even more cool done in the right way.

rev limiter like the one on duke before 1st service

guys i had read in several forums and internet blogs and site that bajaj was giving out the duke 200 with a rev limiter till 7000/8000 rpm during the first run in period and then this rev limiter being raised after the first service. Is this just a rumor/does it hold truth...? My point is if something like that is gonna be/is being done on the duke 200 as to safeguard the engine's life and performance, will/can it be also done on the p200 NS also...?

when the key to ultimate hooliganism comes just at 87 k rs.,it is quite obvious that a rossi will born in every alley.

    want to share a experience,was riding passion,crossed a 220 carrying 3 people @50 kmph,a second later what i hear is loud exhaust note ,slang and i see a flying 220.my bad,i overtook a 220

Oh!!! Yes; atleast here in Chennai; except a few, most people who've P220's are worse than hooligans; trust me, its not the machine or BAL, I've a negative opinion on P220 owners at the first sight just because of such morons!!!

Anyway, getting back to P200NS, looks like its a wonderful piece of engineering; I'm only worried about one factor - power in wrong hands

But i also suggested them to remove the rear grab handles and put a plastic cowl instead of rear seat. They did not do it.

Yes definitely. The middle panels will be black. The single tone is test only.

Who would believe if i said i had suggested Bajaj the coloring of mid panels black. No one would. Bajaj took the suggestion and did exactly the same.
Thank you Mr Tandon for listening to us.

    Ride safe future P200NS owners!

What's there to get confused? If you've moolah, Duke 200, otherwise P200NS. Simple!!!

Just checked the Duke 200 ownership thread... for the first time... the mileage claims are unbelievable... not im more confused as to what my next bike would be :P
