The trick to get around the decimal numbers is to multiply each of the the decimal numbers (resulting from the Power/Rupee calculation) by "1,000". That's what is done while calculating Power/Weight Ratio as well.Originally posted by sparky View PostI thought about it but don't think anybody has patience with big decimal numbers these days.

Exactly, we can always calculate in Ps/Lac. That will show the real difference in numbers.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

That's great.Originally posted by Praful View Post2.3L Ex-Showroom as per one of the KTM showrooms here in BLR.
But all in 3.8 L Approx oh boy that's gave me goosebumps, just for a beefed up engine. Well, gotta wait.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

yes bro,
we can take it for touring and it is effortless.
recently i did a Mumbai to Delhi to Mumbai trip on my duke 200 in just 4 days of riding with riding her for 10 hours each day.
and this bike didn't tire me very much.
so, i can say D390 would be more suitable for touring considering its extra power which can be used in emergency situations and for whole day running.
The only problem would be the range due to small fuel tank.
My Duke 200 gives me a range of 270-300kms on full tank in high revving of running.
But bike is very comfortable overall.

Finally it has been launched but looks are not so great it looks kinda similar, can even say similar to Duke 200.
New buyer should wait for pulsar 350/375 whichever they are launching.
Hope "Hamara bajaj" do it in great way.
BTW great pics and nice review. will surely try to get a hands on it ......"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever"

With such power to weight ratio, this would be beast of a bike to handle(for people like me).
They have kept form factor for 200 and 390 same, which would not give Duke 390 owner any greater bragging rights than Duke 200 as a poser is great thing. This bike would go in hands of biker who knows what he is taming.
Duke 390 should satisfy bikes who crave for all the power, but are on low budget.

.. as a comparo the Ninja 250R had 22Nm and CBR 250 has 23.5Nm of Torque.
