Re: TVS Apache RTR200 4V: First Impressions
they seem to have implemented the 'oil cooled' method different from the way bajaj has on the pulsars.
its an oil jacket around the cylinder (something like the water jacket in a liquid cooled engine)

Re: TVS Apache RTR200 4V: First Impressions
IMO, a Gixxer may get 3km to 5km on the top end(compared to a carburetted Gixxer) given the fact that fuel injection may add 0.5ps to 1ps and a bit more refinement, along with a better throttle response. Any more increment in the power may bring down the torque figures.Originally posted by akash22 View PostYup there is always the error am I the only one thinking what can a gixxer with fi can do (sf does speedo indicated 130 and apache with fi 144) nah tvs I had very high hopes on you...
As per TVS, the bike has been designed to utilize the full potential of the bike in the usable range(which may be around 6000 to 8000rpm). Atleast most of the consumers looking out for a bike in that price range wouldn't be riding to 144 or say 150kmph all the time. So it makes more sense to the consumer to enjoy the complete power range which is available, rather than red lining most of the times to exploit the full potential of the bike.My bond with the oil hearts :
