Re: TVS Apache RTR200 4V: First Impressions
Based on what I have seen, the Apache comes as Carb or Efi (Pick what suits you, both are good but you cannot do a 100rs petrol jugard on the Efi you will mess up the inbuilt pump when you run it dry with no petrol) The Tvs Tyres have been improved by 150% of what they used to be on Rtr 180's. Many reviews have said the Tvs tyres have been very much improved and are as nearly good as the Pirelli's on dry surface at least. Also to note the Tvs tyres are now soft compound and has improved roll grip which is good for everyday use. So go for Pirelli's if you have that extra cash and will be running the bike all over the place for extra saftey. Now question comes for if you want to go for ABS or NonAbs Both the version are great but if you are new rider go for ABS for sure cause it offers the best In class or the best in biking for an Indian company safety. NonAbs is good for those who like it to do stunts or just drive normally.
For those who are saying they want a tourer bike or commuter bike this bike will be all in the same for a lot of people who will be driving this wonderful machine, Tvs has made it clear that it will have the punch of a torque in all rev bands of the machine instead of having it in mid and top, apache has it all in the low, mid which will help it zoom around the city in a zip and will have edge over others in terms of pick up and cornering while there is a top end but it is weak or loses a lot of torque but it still can touch 130 to 140 (with some speedo errors) Since it's a Naked beast it doesn't need a top end in my views. Treat this bike how ever you want, it has amazing seat even for pillion which you cannot find on any other 200 cc bike, it has raised up clip ons which has a really good upright stance while the foot pegs are a bit back so you still get a sporty feel while being comfy which is a + other thing to note are the seats which are very comfy and offer a really good wide seat for pillion which is a surprise in a 200 cc bike. Over all it's a wonderful bike, you can call it your very own sports bike, tourer bike, or a commuter bike in which ever case you will have a wide smile while riding this beast for sure.
In regards to when the bike will come in :-
1. Tvs Apache RTR 200 4V Carb, Tvs Tyres, Non-Abs OTR 98,500 rs Aprox. At dealership Mid March 2016
2. Tvs Apache RTR 200 4V Carb, Pirelli's, Non-Abs OTR 104,700 rs Aprox At dealership Mid to End March 2016
The ones with Efi, Abs will arrive Mid to End April 2016 with fully loaded Apache costing OTR around 125,000 Rs Aprox which is a steal compared to other brands.
Hope I have helped you guys in any way possible, Btw the prices are Aprox and got them from Supreme TVS at Dhombhivli East, he was kind enough to provide it to me since I would be his first booking for it (Already paid 5k, but still to decide which Apache to get for myself

I don't mind as long as rtr agrees ;-) the reason why I want to know is to see what to expect with the 200's abs that's all.Originally posted by Sandeep Kh View PostWe wont explaining here itself shadcool786

Nice review by Old Fox sir.
The looks and appearance is minimal and that should be fine for a naked. The Pirellis are a very good option.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
