      • Do you have a budget for it? O2's are rebranded HTCs, btw.

Your list consists exclusively of Windows Mobile phones. Is that the only OS you're interested in? If not, try the HTC Hero. Brillinat phone.

Music is easily comparable to the pod , closest iv ever seen in a phone .

Iv had enough of symbian phones, played played and now fed up of it .

Symbian- like windows- lots of compatible stuff , but highly unstable. :-P
SE OS- like mac- minimal expansion - super stable . and a stand out. :-P

Just bought Samsung Omnia 2 for Rs.27000. great phone with brilliant screen. Had shortlisted omnia 2 and HTC touch Hd. Chose omnia 2 for it screen and better battery backup. I was using Sony Ericsson P1i earlier and am missing its roller in the new phone .

                • Nobody does WinMo better than HTC. You can also mod the handset endlessly after you spend some time reading up the threads at xda-developers. Acer's handsets are basically Eten's after they took over the latter company. I find them very uninspiring.

Hero runs Android and uses HTC's proprietary UI called SenseUI on top of it. It looks and feels very beautiful.

If you have no prior experience with Windows Mobile, I recommend that you get the Hero. WinMo is very powerful, but a lot of things in it aren't so straightforward and will frustrate you from time to time; unless you spend time online, figuring out its quirks.

Android is not as powerful, but is much easier to live with on a daily basis.

                    • I'm a little late to this discussion. Anyways i use a W890i. Dont think its not released yet in India. Besides the one of the few display pieces at the sony showroom(s).
