Loved that front windshield. Really tastefully done. Looks absolutely superb. Only things missing are Dual-sport rubber and a high front mudguard.Originally posted by jagjit_singh View Post

Universal Mod/Customisation Thread
1st a bit of My story : I own a Yamaha Fazer(2012). Now shes been more than 2 years old so I was eager to modify it. By modify I dont mean only large exhausts and full body replacements, instead to me modification means all the little bits that we apply to our rides to suit our needs. I am following xbhp for 4 years now and have searched many threads regarding customization. But one major ques that still struck my mind is WHAT CAN BE MODIFIED ??? Even after 4 years just yesterday I i came to now that even a little thing like spark plug can also be changed from stock ones.
So through this thread I want to prepare a list(in tabular form) consisting of ALL the possible mods/changes/customisations that can be done to a motorcycle.
LOOKS PERFORMANCE SAFETY TANK PAD SPARK PLUGS LEG GUARD STICKERS AIR FILTER TAPING EXHAUST PAINT JOB TYRES ENGINE OIL
This is just a small list. We all can together add a lot more columns. Currently I have more than 60+ ideas in my mind. If we all contribute our knowledge to this thread, then I want to make this thread the 1st stop for anyone who wants to modify his ride. From here one can know WHAT CAN BE MODIFIED ??? and then he/she can visit individual threads related to that part/product.

Re: Share Your Creativity (Bike Modification)
"Mere Do Anmol Ratan"
You're laughing after reading the title , i wrote this just 'cause i'm posting some pictures of my both beloved bikes here.
One is Kawasaki 4s champion -1996 (It was my favorite ride during my college days , Completely self modified)
Second is Yamaha RXZ - 1998 (Currently i'm using this and it's under modification process , It's complete version'll be available soon)
I hope you guys'll like them too
I'm looking for imported dirt bike body kit for modifying RXZ , can anybody suggest where can i get it in pune or bombay. Advice and suggestions are welcome. Thank you

following you i have recently grabbed a set of 10w Cree spot beam for those night and off roads in dark. it will be very helpful if you can post a few shots of those Led\'s in action in dark. wanted to see the beam throw and useability."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Share Your Creativity (Bike Modification)
I hope I'm posting this in the right thread as I couldn't find anything specifically devoted to modification except this one. So here goes....
I'm planning on picking up a 2011/12 FZ16 which I'd like to make minor modifications to, similar to the attached pics. Now I do not want to cross the line by doing anything that defies safety norms of the country nor do I want to run into RTO/cops who are out to score a buck. So my idea is to modify the bike as follows:
1. Get rid of headlight fearing and replace with single round headlight (yellow or regular) plus indicators
2. Change handle bar to lower position and add side view mirrors
3. Replace digital metres with manual
4. Get rid of unnecessary stickers to go for a clean look but retain Yamaha logo
5. Go for shorter front mudguard
6. Get rid of leg guard
7. Retain rear tail shape but shorten mudguard. Raise licence plate higher (without altering shape/font/colour).
8. Go for LED mono-tail light (or two duo-tail lights) plus round indicators
9. Retain original colour
10. Tyre and alloy change to Pirelli + spokes but that can be added later too
The idea is to keep the bike as close to stock as possible and hence not to alter it from the details mentioned in RC book. I do not believe the external cosmetic mods I want endanger either myself or other drivers/riders in any way. I certainly do not want to rev up the engine to race. My priority is a cool ride that gets me a good average too.
Appreciate any comments, tips on bike mods and whether I should expect to get into RTO trouble with these minor changes? Thanks!

Re: Share Your Creativity (Bike Modification)
Wouldn't the handle bars be too low for such a big tank? Think twice before you start modifying process. Good luck! Keep posting here about the progress.
