How do you feel the back pressure from the stock exhaust with this setup?

I am very eager to get your updates once you complete the Run-in and rev the bike over 10K RPM.

Kindly try adding some extra miles everyday with your girl friend and finish the Run-in soon man.

Well, till about 6k-7k, I don't feel any exhaust restriction as such. It pulls nicely. And its smooth too above 4k. How is your bike nowadays?

      • My Bike is a long story man, (It wouldn't fit the character limit if i type)

As like you, I have written a complete review on the very next day when we both met, but the sad part is the bike is changing its behavior every now and then.

So waiting for things to settle down and will update you shortly.

Its true, I feel the same at 2k rpm but after the runin you will never be below 6k rpm.

                    • ^^^ My bike has run only 260+ kms till now... hence was waiting to log some kms before writing again.

As of now, its smooth at 4k+ rpms. 6k brings a little resonance vibes, and it smoothens out at higher rpms. Its much rev friendly then before. Top end is free-er too, but have not ridden much in those rpms.

That, in a nutshell is how my bike is behaving nowadays. Will write a comprehensive report as I clock 500+ kms.

BTW, did not receive any PMs from you.

I had the same issue until 1000kms. Vibrations are felt when you cross 7k rpm. And the throttle response at 2k is not good sometimes. After 1000kms the vibrations disappeared. Everything will be fine with your bike once it completes 1000kms. After that it rocks man. The bike becomes free and you will like to revv it. I have installed the exhaust as well. Now my bike is much better.

The parts I have installed on my brand new bike are as follows:

                        1) Big bore (Pulling capability had increased)

                        2) Head work (Free revvs)

                        3) Race cam (zooms after 6k rpm and goes higher and higher.

                        4) Exhaust (This helped to increase the torque) Initially I was not interested in the exhaust but later on I made up my mind to get it done. Exhaust note is not too high as I thought. I am enjoying the sound when I ride. The exhaust is a must if you want to get a good ride feel.

                        5) Air filter (Free flow)

                        6) Clutch springs (This made a big differnce in the gear shifting)

                        Good work by Joel.

                        Getting the ECU today

                            • @ surendar,

Nothing interesting to share man,if I do share my story many will not like it. One thing I would like to say in short,

the cost and time involved in Modifying your bike may apparently feel less in terms of the performance you gain but really really high when it comes to satisfaction.

Good going. Strangely I have never noticed any vibes after 7k even on the present setup. Vibes are there after 9k or so though - but this is same as on stock.
