Boric acid + engine oils, does it work out??

Yes I am aware that Boric Acid doesn't cause seizure...but @Nirvaana is facing a problem and I am trying my best to troubleshoot and solve it...I had used Boric Acid in various bikes , & cars without any incident.What works for me need not work for others..
Like you said I have seen only positives, like improved mileage and compression..makes the engine feel smooth etc.,..But @Nirvaana had first dissolved the boric acid in Acetone ,into a paste then added it to the engine oil....If boric acid had remained as lumpy paste then there is a chance of it plugging the oil holes in Piston....Though this is theory I want to rule it out,and warn future users..From his account it seems that the valves are not closing shut fully,as he reports back firing through air inlet..It could be carbon deposit in the bore, valves & valve seats giving this problem since the bike had done 43 K Kms...
All this apart, @ Nirvaana has a problem and I am trying to understand and solve it..
Sir for my treatment i think it should hav been fine. As said before I ensured that the boric+acetone paste mixed well in oil. I could see it suspended in oil without any lumps and inconsistencies. Actually it was some nice mixed that i could not make out if anything has been added to oil.
My bike was running very fine prior to the service/treatment with a max speed of around 95kmph giving an avg of above 40kmpl (if driven sanely)
. Still I cant say for sure that it was the treatment that caused this. There could be other reasons too.
As said earlier I gave the bike for servicing and added this mix at mech's place after the bike was handed over to me.
Immediately after this i felt hiccups when tried to cross 5k mark in tacho. The mech said he has changed bearing & oil seals and all so it's behaving so. I don't think the treatment wud hav brought any adverse effect on engine so soon(???)
Even now the bike idles properly like before as if nothing had happened. Prob arises as soon i try to build revs. Thats when the bike sort of chokes as if running short of fuel or if there's no power supply. The engine oil is still red and fresh without any burning smell. This makes me suspect if there is some electrical fault. Need to check with mech once i get time.
If the treatment worked for so many then there shud be lesser reasons why it shud not work for me

hi nirvaana i wish you can rectify the problem.I know how it feels when my bike is not working properly for me it is like end of the world.please keep updating so that we all can know the problem and solution.2030 " we used to ride petrol motorbike and you can not even afford one drop of it"

If bike starts and idle then please Check the CDI connector and plug cap..I faced a similar problem of bike starting in one crank but refusing to accelerate in my ZMA-R,sometimes even switching off with throttle... Loose contact in CDI CONNECTOR was the problem for me..so get it checked ASAP and spray WD40 n to the inside of the connector, to keep moisture away.Originally posted by nirvaana View PostThanks psr sir and sun105 for reply.

All,
The issue is resolved. I took it to a trusted mech. He said the issue was with camshaft and timing. Total repair cost under 1000 bucks. I didn't ask for the details of the work done though as language for me is a big barrier here in Chennai and I was too tired after a hard day at work

Boric'd again at 31000 kms
The first time was @15800 kms about 5 months back

got bike serviced yesterday.there was no undisolved particles in the oil.today, i have to put B.A. again bike was behaving very harsh so put it and again the result was positive.It seems i have become addicted to smoothness.

I use 10-15gm and the B.A. is industrial grade.If we put according to quality in increasing order then (1) for carom (2) for medical purpose (3) for industrial use.
I think one should start using it after 10k so that we can stop the damage to the engine instead of using it as damage control mechanism as our politcian do.
Should we become like them.
