Bhai mere get the probiker ones if you cannot afford or have delays in getting a proper one.. your palms usually take the brunt of the force when one falls or skids so its best to have atleast some protection.. helmet and gloves are the minimum basics to keep yourself protected.. you can always upgrade down the lane to better more expensive gear but imho one should atleast have these two at all times..

Have a look at Solace gears and Rynox. Do get Zoook Moto69 gloves from Snapdeal for the time being. They are better than probiker imo.Originally posted by luckyashraj View PostThe Monk Divya Sharan I agree with both of you on building up gears with time.
I saved up some money and got a Studds Shifter helmet, now saving up for gloves.
I have seen probiker gloves. They don't impression me much. I prefer leather ones. The one I am looking for is all weather gloves but, can't seem to find anywhere within a budget of ₹2500. I have shortlisted two gloves as of now, Cramster Flux and Royal Enfield Spiti Short gloves. But both are summer gloves only, they will be rendered useless during rains and winter.
Plus the place where I live, the only way to get one is through online mode only. If you guys can enlighten me with better options, that'd be great.

Re: Riding Gear - A common man's outlook
By saying 'keep the rubber down', are you saying to keep both the wheels in contact with the ground? Or is it some lingo I don't interpret. Just curious.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostRide safe, keep the helmet buckled and always keep the rubber down!I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.

Yes, it implies ride safe and don't crash. Keep the rubber side down (where it belongs).Originally posted by Vattsy View PostBy saying 'keep the rubber down', are you saying to keep both the wheels in contact with the ground? Or is it some lingo I don't interpret. Just curious.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
