Dropped the bike at Ganesh Yamaha (Hyderabad) to get the big bore kit, head and cam installed + general service (change to mineral oil now) .
The mechanic says that it would be done by tomorrow. fingers crossed.
Will update with more information once i get the bike back.

there are 2 videos of joel's ffe on rtr,on youtube check them out . And i could do 60kmph in 3:28 secs , im a 110+kg rider. While earlier i could do nothing more than 3.8 secs.Originally posted by Thunder View Post^^^^^^
Looks good,,, would be better if a Video is provided to hear the sound and wat is the Top Wack??? and 0-60???
Note the value is not asper the speedi timer, it is original timing measure with the help of a cam.
For figures related top whack and a complete ride report, go to page no 33 and refer to my post containing the ride report.Last edited by UTKARSH STUNTY SHARMA; 01-06-2012, 06:05 AM.

Some pics of rtr 190 with ffe and headwork

Picture justify the looks more than paragraph's
EDIT- Removed the bike's center stand as it was banging all the time with the FFE. As im more of a city rider so center stand isnt tht important to me. Got my bike weighed at a weighing station and the weight came out to be a 126kg*
*-THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY ALONG WITH SPEEDO HAS BEEN REMOVED AFTER MY CRASH WITH A BULL.Last edited by UTKARSH STUNTY SHARMA; 01-06-2012, 05:51 AM.

For those who cannot ship their bore and heads to Joel, he does provide new re-worked head and bore for a minimal charge. definitely worth considering if one uses their bike daily and cant afford a downtime.
next would be improved cams, air filter, new CDI?, exhaust as time and money permit. will share with you guys the pics and details soon.
thank you all for sharing your experiences and in helping me make up my mind.
Thanks !
well i am also in the cue to get my FZ modded, just that time and current green zone status is an issue!! I have had multiple conversations with Joel about all the possible mods on me bike.
Cheers

Yes very well said by the genius. Where joel bhai is there, we don't have to worry. i have a long story with joelbhai but cannot write much so writing short.Originally posted by Joel View PostAll is well indeed. Nothing to worry!
I waited for six long months. First bigbore kit was damaged due to poor quality of packing and naturally by mis handling by the courier service. Joelbhai checked the pictures and asked me to send the courier back to him. He replaced the damage block. After getting the replaced one There was again some problem in the sleeve. Passed some pictures to joelbhai and he suggested to do minor honing. Went to the shop with my mechanic and guy did the perfect work. Now mechanic started the operation and he took his own time. Got the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ! Got the bigbore kit installed today. My god! just cant believe with the performance of my karizma. I have no words to describe, Infact i am speech less. Its much smooth now than before. No vibration. Did the test ride. Its unbelievable. I also tried driving in 5th gear with very slow speed just to test, found no knocking and it goes very smooth. Not driven in speed yet but Within a flash it is reaching 80 kmph. Guys Any one who is interested for the bigbore kit should go for it without hesitation. Its really a magic. You will feel completely different. joelbhai, i want to request you to do the packing in such a way that even if the courier guy throws the parcel, there should not be any damage inside. I want to specially Thank you. Without you it was not possible. My bike was incomplete without your invention. I wish you good luck for the future. Hope to see you in future.Last edited by patelnimesh_29; 12-28-2011, 08:43 PM.

.Didnt calculate the FE but i feel it has improved marginally.
@joel-the moment i let go of the throttle theres a continuous rythmic backfiring from the exhaust(sounds like a WRC car
),what could be the reason? Is the 220 big bore ready?
I guess, this thing also happens when the glass wool of the exhaust is fried.

and you are the one unlucky guy...Originally posted by abhimanyu31 View PostStrangely, now that my bike has covered 5,000 kms, the backfiring has disappeared as also the fuling problem that was so prominent between 3,500 - 4,000 rpm (with stock ECU). The only variable that I can think of is the carbon build up, everything else is same.
keep it up your work mann...Originally posted by Joel View PostIts not really lean, as the stock jetting can compensate for the exhaust anyways. It mostly the afterburn when you shut the throttle.
On WRC cars, the afterburn causes the backfire at lift-off.
Fuelling is just perfect with the stock jet on the P220.
any problem by this back fire?
.
and, what about our "joeled CBR"..
