Hello friends my name is nimesh s patel. I am from bilimora gujarat. Mywork place is at Vadodara Gujarat. Its 200 kilometers away from my home. I deposited the amount on 19th july and i received my bigbore kit on 25th november. I waited for more than 4 months to get the delivery. i was at my job place and decided to drive back home on saturday with one friend. we left at 5:30 pm from vadodara and reached bilimora by 8 pm took one 5 minute hault. Next morning i was woke up, got ready for garage and went to amalsad its 5 kilometers away from bilimora. Took the Courier(bigbore kit) along with me in my bag. I reached and opened the packed box.truly telling i have zero mechanical knowledge so i don't know what exactly i was to get in it. (Sirf itna pata tha ki bigbore kit bolte hai) so i just opened and was shocked to see the damaged borekit and spoiled myday. Still i cant take the thing out of my mind that i received damaged one. I spent my hard earned money and now i am in total loss. I immediately called joel and busy man was in chennai and asked me to send the pics. I transferred pictures through whatsapp application but got no response. Seems like he is busy there. Now what should i do? Guys please help me.

Please dont ignore this..i joined xbhp solely for this problem.
guys sorry to butt in this way,I am having some depressing moments with the R15 at the moment.
Please Kindly help me out here with suggestions.
Problem:EVERY TIME i try to start the bike after a period of more than 7-8 Hours of parking,it protest while firing up.I have to twist the throttle and she slowly starts up.After which she behaves very erratically,The rpm needle keeps moving around constantly and When i gas it she takes a good half a second to respond before revving up higher. This happens for first 2-3 Kms(I am constantly struggling to avoid stalling the engine..I avoid this by constantly reving the engine at signals or at low speeds) Problem get 98% resolved after about 3Kms and she responds brilliantly there after.
Bike Set up is:
piston:stock
ECU: Joel's ECU (racing concepts,no rev limiter,more meatier feel in 4k-9.5k range,slight top speed increase.. 143Kmph as opposed to 138 before)
Filter: SIMOTA wafer steel mesh.
Bike History:
Purchased 18Nov 2010
ODO: 14468 Kms(25 Nov 2011)
Accessories: Installed HID lamps and struggleg for a month before removing them and installin brand new front dome to remove the mess.
Thats it apart from this its full stock.

I believe more or less P180 UG3, P150 UG3 and P150 UG4 are the same platforms... Your equipments should fit in some/all of these, specially the big bores and exhausts. (As far as I understand)
Why should you make P180/P150 exhaust and Big bores? Let me explain:
1. These both (P180 and P150) are the bikes in which maximum silencers get rusted/ lose their glasswool, and eventually lose performance. Owners like me are crying for a good replacement.
2. You won't have any competition. Even Automech Engineers makes an exhaust for P200/P220/P180 UG4 alike but none for P180/150 UG3... KRP doesn't make good ones, as I heard.
3. You should be able to solve heating/ reliability problem through your Big bore kits itself. And create a platform for further performance accessories...
4. Having lesser cost & more reach than P220/200, I believe that over India, these bikes (150/180) sold MUCH MORE over the years than their bigger siblings... The bigger Pulsars, P220 and P200 just reached non-Probikings just 3 years ago.
Alright, I admit I'm trying to convince you for "my" benefit.
But jokes apart, I believe these bikes' performance enhancements have a serious market.
Do you still believe there's no market for performance accessories for a bike that beats FZ hands down?

@ Jasmine Rider: Totally agree man although mine is a UG3.
Joel probably means that Premium most engines from each manufacturer... like Karizma, R15, P220, RTR Twins, etc.

Been using the exhaust for the last 10 months and over 8000 kms. Extremely satisfied with the prompt assistance from Joel post sales. It has improved the overall efficiency of the engine, been riding harder without having a cardiac arrest at the gas station. The mid range performance has improved and revs more freely. Waiting for the replacement filter.

thnxx brother this thing clarified my doubts.....actually i was thinking abt the same thing tht a increase of lil cubic capacity wont change the speedo reading much maybe 2 or 3 kmph + ....but yes the torque is the main part and yes will be getting the ffe from joel soon but im also thinkin of sending the engine head to joel for getting it ported to match the setup well......wat say shld i go for the porting workOriginally posted by Garry_rxz View PostUtkarsh your ride is gonna show the same speedo readings as it did earlier,since you hav'nt played with the gearing!
