@Harish - Please keep the discussions offline. You have a build experience at your own level, lets not dilute the efforts that we put in here.
Every product or component that has been developed inhouse is what we offer and not some chinese or indonesian kit.

We have now developed the following parts for the FZ and it looks very interesting when you throttle hard,
180cc bigbore kit with hard sleeve and racing semi forged piston
custom grind camshaft which will help bump the power band much higher into the rev range. Comes with and without the decomp lever. We prefer the non-decomp version for improved rocker life at high revs.
High revving CDI module with 8 switchable maps. On the fly adjustments can be made. Plug and play. Revs till 11500rpm.
All these will be available shortly. The bigbore should be up in 2 weeks.

yes it could be.. but if the bike before serviced at yamaha running well then it must be other problem.. or some guy changes the CO setting.. (assuming the Yamaha Service Center has the FI Diagnostic Tool)

its orion yamaha koramangala bangalore...i guess they have the device to change the CO settings...
as per mechanic(local mechanic not yamaha mechanic) he said that the plug and gapping is fine only..we also checked the airfilter..no issues.. i just replaced the stock ecu and its working just fine..cold start..after 7 hour period start..no issues..i am almost convinced that its something to do with ecu mapping..i hope joel can fix this..i must also remeber to tell yamaha ppl not to touch my idle speed or timings or any other engine settings because joel's ecu should be taking care of these things already(as per my understanding)

    Hey Jo!!

Please dont ignore this..i joined xbhp solely for this problem.
guys sorry to butt in this way,I am having some depressing moments with the R15 at the moment.
Please Kindly help me out here with suggestions.
Problem:EVERY TIME i try to start the bike after a period of more than 7-8 Hours of parking,it protest while firing up.I have to twist the throttle and she slowly starts up.After which she behaves very erratically,The rpm needle keeps moving around constantly and When i gas it she takes a good half a second to respond before revving up higher. This happens for first 2-3 Kms(I am constantly struggling to avoid stalling the engine..I avoid this by constantly reving the engine at signals or at low speeds) Problem get 98% resolved after about 3Kms and she responds brilliantly there after.

    Bike Set up is:

    piston:stock
ECU: Joel's ECU (racing concepts,no rev limiter, more meatier feel in 4k-9.5k range, slight top speed increase.. 143Kmph as opposed to 138 before)
    Filter: SIMOTA wafer steel mesh.

    Bike History:
    Purchased 18Nov 2010
    ODO: 14468 Kms(25 Nov 2011)
Accessories: Installed HID lamps and struggleg for a month before removing them and installin brand new front dome to remove the mess.
Thats it apart from this its full stock.

FYI: Yes, am going for the whole thing, from carb. to exhaust. Will start a thread about that when done. This will as objective as possible, and purely informative, as I have no financial interest in this Indonesian supplier.

Effectively, there seem to be, from what information I can collect on the Internet, nobody in India besides Joel Joseph who can study and undertake such big, deep mods on performance bikes.

Yes, please open a thread and share the Knowledge. It would really great if you update a few snaps in every stage of your modd process.

So: I have ordered my "bore up" kit (200cc.) from automotivespartsshop.com, Mr. Haryono Adigunawan, and it's on the way after one week. All clients definitely confirm both quality of the materials delivered (high materials specs and tolerances) and of the technical assistance from this person. Trouble, being on this Indian forum: this person is in Indonesia.

Please let me be well understood: after twenty years in South-East Asia, I have very high consideration and esteem for you, people, and for your great country and culture, but there seem to be, generally speaking, some drawbacks in the way business is done there, as well as the care given to production (my FZ-16 clearly shows that!). Definitely has to be addressed.

Sir, I too agree with you to a certain extent,

But Indonesian biking scenario is completely different from India, you have to admit that.

Coz, in Indonesia, we have good/reliable workstations where they modify Low capacity bikes and sell it out just like a new bike and they even warrant their modified bikes to a greater extend, including after sales service etc.

But in India, R15 was the 1st mass production bike to have an LC Engine, and even Yamaha service guys are not well aware of servicing an R15. Owners themselves are very much scared to do R&D with their engine, only Joel has taken the task of testing these Kits from south east and comeup with the best combination and the right product upgrade.

I too admit, I did Joel my bike and was not satisfied with the Piston/Rings quality, so I went for a Shark Yamaha/Honda R Type Piston,

its a fact that Shark Trademark bore/piston are the best available in entire South east, but costly too. (You can ask any LC Modifier from South East) But the Shark User manual says, there is no warranty on the product unless if its being fitted by a authorized workstation, which is no where in India.

I waited for more than 4 months to get the delivery. i was at my job place and decided to drive back home on saturday with one friend. we left at 5:30 pm from vadodara and reached bilimora by 8 pm took one 5 minute hault. Next morning i was woke up, got ready for garage and went to amalsad its 5 kilometers away from bilimora. Took the Courier(bigbore kit) along with me in my bag. I reached and opened the packed box.truly telling i have zero mechanical knowledge so i don't know what exactly i was to get in it. (Sirf itna pata tha ki bigbore kit bolte hai) so i just opened and was shocked to see the damaged borekit and spoiled myday. Still i cant take the thing out of my mind that i received damaged one. I spent my hard earned money and now i am in total loss. I immediately called joel and busy man was in chennai and asked me to send the pics.
