Er.. scratches is fine, but a year of usage and the scratches become tears and tears mean unsuable shoes. So get new ones which means I spend less on fuel than I wanted to So no 'Ride ONN'!

On a sports bike where you are in a more crouched position, toe down, it is difficult to use your heel and so toe shifting makes far better sense. It is because of the reason that it is not easy to press heel down even if we wanted to since the balls of our feet are already on the pegs and the calf muscle is stretched about as far as it will go.

Well Riders who go to office and have a dress code will certainly mind it. Personally, my shoe as well get scratches everyday apart from spoiled shining and they aren't cheap either.

Anyway, i don't find a work around so chalta hai.

hehe.. i thought the discussion would've been over. For the uninitiated the insulation/duct tape method stands true and works well! Try it out... and u can save the cash for some riding gear instead of expensive riding shoes or protectors for them

Hehe... this was one the reasons/ excuses given by my Mamaji for not letting me buy Hunk/ CBZX.. lol.

Nubuck/ Suede shoes seem best for biking purposes...

well well a topic that i shouldve read a long time ago......believe me after i lost my preety adidas sandals to the toe shifter on my 200 i came up with an idea and man its saved my al stars and other shoes.....

i had a pair of those grips that are used on the handlebars....black ones...since i wasnt using them i cut up a piece made an areldite mixture and stuck it to that tied it with a rope overnight so that it sticks and next morning removed the rope n done my toe shifter is as harmless as a domestic dog.......ill upload pics soon....lemme do it tomorrow morning in the lunch break of the test match......

u guys will then get a fair idea as well.......
