  • Shift sock?

For those of you just looking for a cost effective way around this issue, i recommend you simply look no further than one of your old socks. Not very durable but more is to be found where the previous one came from cheaply and easily enough. Cut off a cylinder and put it on the toe end of your left shoe. Only downside is the appearance. You could probably pick a black sock since black is always in fashion

We're now getting rubber shift socks. They are permanent attachments to the gear lever.
      Anyone tried these?
I can see some cheap ones on eBay and Ali Express too.

Toe up gears have no place for the heel AFAIK!
        Please explain....
he is probably talking the same way we guys do on old bullets. wearing boots and changing gear from the back of leg. you ideally put the foot in front and then tug the lever towards you slotting in first gear and press down for the rest of the gear.

Cool, let's all try to order. I've been using the old wristband and that worked great last 7yrs.
What's this shift sock made of-rubber?

Well, I believe the left shoe having a black mark is a sign of a biker and I sort of like them very much.
