We offer a six month warranty against manufacturing defects - so any problems like sole cracking up, detaching from upper, upper stitching opening up, etc. the boot will be replaced free of charge. Of course, the experience is that the life of the boots is much longer.

But there are no warranties for fitting.
We have over the years supplied several shoes/ boots made on the same lasts (moulds). The feedback is that they are very comfortable to wear, even for a prolonged period of time.
Great care has been taken is sizing, so the accuracy is fairly high when benchmarked to standard UK sizes.
look, I mean I have a issue with size 11 or 12 because when the insides are foam padded, the standard size tends to differ.

there is a pair of Uggs that I once ordered which didn't turn out to be my correct size despite the British sizing system etc.

So returning size 11 for size 12 pair needs to be made possible to give me confidence in any online transaction.

Foam padding will never alter a shoe size. The way a shoe is built, it is made on a last, which is determines the cavity available inside for the foot. And additional layers of material get added outside of the last, so the cavity will always remain intact. If shoe sizing is an issue, it only has to do with inaccurate sizing of the lasts.

That said, I understand your apprehension.
Which city are you located? maybe I can guide you to someone there who is using an Orazo size 12, or something like that

I'm sorry but I thought this topic was about how to save your shoes from the toe-only gear shifter.

In the last few pages, I don't see the discussion related to this thread topic. Vir (Orazo_Boots) how about starting a new topic on Orazo Boots and their USPs. But here, points to save your current shoes would be appreciated.

EDIT: Saw your thread already exists! Scratch that advice.

As I mentioned earlier, tying something to the toe-shifter may not work.
I am using the wristband method&it is really effective.

Yes, I think so too. A simple, thin wristband you get for cheap would do the trick I think. Just slip it on before you ride. And take it out after you stop.

But then, what in the case of slushy, muddy roads where you would required to put your foot down? That wristband would become useless.

I don't put my left foot down most of the time! In anycase, even if you do dirty it, its not that expensive to replace!

Not in any of the major cities Vir, but currently in Kerala and far away from any big city. Kottayam town is nearby though. It's almost 70 kms from Cochin. Got shifted here around 6 months back from delhi where I lived for 32 odd years.

What I can do is return the size 12 in original packaging and you can ship a size 11. these facilities are currently provided by online footwear retailers like bigshoebazaar etc. In case you agree to the same I will place an order within a few days as soon as I get my bike.

                    • Where do you have to put it-on the gear lever or on your own shoe? The shape doesn't look correct enough to fit onto the gear lever.

OK, Almondnine, we have been working on a response to your request, to take it up as a policy offer - mainly because we have received similar requests from others too. I am pleased to let you know that we have decided to accept the position that if you need a replacement of the boot either one size up, or down, after having received it and tried it; we shall replace the same, provided you return the boot in the original packing within three days of receipt (transit time excluded).
I hope this makes you comfortable.

                        • my Home made toe shifter.

Guys !! check this out.I made a toe shift protector for my bike. its made of leather and costs me rs 40 for the whole thing.i procured the material and build the thing by myself as per my need.has been using it for a week and it definitely feels good, in the sense that i didnt find any discomfort while shifting or moving my legs around the pegs. besides it takes only a few Seconds (yeah a few seconds) to wear and take this thing off.

here's the link; BTW that's an orazo boot and the shifter had damaged the leather so badly that i had to employ this toe shifter protector. now iam happy

" if WRONG is a T-shirt ; then wearing it inside out doesn't make it RIGHT "

Toe up gears have no place for the heel AFAIK!
