    if bajaj can import ninja250 from thailand (because of a free trade agreement between thailand and india) as a ckd and avail lower custom duties why is yamaha and honda not doing the same for their litre class bikes as if i am not wrong they both have their manufacturing units in countries like Thailand.

    If the bike is more than 3 years old, you cannot import it.

    Guys just checked out E-bay and found yamaha r6 for 4570 GBP (almost 3.6 L). How much it would cost to import the bike to india including all taxes and registration. Any one can explain ? and How safe is E-bay ?
