@xionite: Thanks for the info mate. But as of now I am trying to develop my knowledge about these bikes and get to know about the legality issues. I will am gonna be busy for the next 3-4months and after that I will be onto it.
In what price range you think I can get one of these? Not exactly a CBR600 F but a CBR600rr or R6.

I am a newbie when it comes to bike technology and all its features but I dont think thats a reason to not own a bigger bike. I have also been thinking of maybe the Ninja250r but somehow get this feeling that a 600cc will be better option.
As for the Hyosung GT650r and the Ninja 650r, they sure will be good bike and maybe value for money too but the idea of owning a R6 is too good to give up without even trying.

Yes they do make more power (now.. but are you sure a 2000 model will pump out as many horses?).. but you don't get spares and service for these bikes.. neither can you ride them to the fullest because

#1 they are illegal and cops / DRI can take it away any day
#2 Because they are illegal, even if you manage to get it registered and insured, the day you go out for an insurance claim, the insurance company will reject the claim or even if it is approved, they can very well get you booked for insurance fraud.
#3 You still won't get spares / service from the company.

Act smart.. Get the legal stuff.. go for the GT650 / ER-6f

and many superbike mechanincs have started keeping spares for such bike...

I totally agree that getting a new showroom bike will be much more handy but if i would want to upgrade to a liter class in the upcoming 1-2 years I would prefer to buy a used 600...
