Guys just had a query in my mind that, is it possible to import a 800 to 1000 cc bike year model from 2004 to 2007 ?
1) If yes than what are the rules and regulations......
2) what exact price would one have to pay ?

Yes, you're right. Even an '82 Honda 400's was within 1.25L range. '99 R6 should fetch 2.5L max. I'm assuming it is a grey import machine, isn't it?Originally posted by BOND_001 View Post
If its a legal import, you can stretch upto 3 or 3.2. And your expenses don't end there, maintenance being a key worry.
During 2006, R6's grey prices were around 7-8 Lacs. Can't say about '99 though. And a generalized rule is that for Sbk's in India, 5 years old in decent condition, means under half the price of a new one, minus 60-80k for grey import.
