@Ivin: They are comparing the new 200cc pulsar with P220 because P220 has been their most powerful and flagship model so far. And they want us know that how much different and improved this new pulsar 200 is over the P220, which is good!

In the below images red one is the P220 and blue one is the new P200 NS

Blue one will be beter around corners

This image shows how the blue one is more stable than the red one on a bad stretch of road

Hands off stability - The blue one keeps its line

Sadly I had to miss couple of slides including the power and torque curves as I was uploading images side by side from another room. More pics to follow now focussing mainly on the bike and its detailsLast edited by MG; 01-31-2012, 03:59 PM.

Clearly a Decepitcon in the making
@payeng, true mate, lol. But not to forget in some ways Bajju stole Jap's ideas!! Kwack kwack!! kwack kwack!!Originally posted by payeng View PostThis for me gentleman is the real mccoy.
I can visualize one of Tanuka San's assistant whispering: "Baaiii it immediately".. making Tanuka San angry (but still zooming away on the P200NS).

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

So far so good. Design and spec are really good and at par with latest in industry. ABS/FI might have been excluded only to save on cost and can be put in if there is market demand, but sure they will be available in export models.
But what about after sale service? Now as PBK showrooms are to cater exclusively for KTM and Kawasaki prospective customer of this bike need to go to exisiting Bajaj dealerships only. So this will raise following points
1) Are the current Bajaj dealers capable in handling the new tech (perimeter frame, LC engine and .....) as adept as the PBK showrooms?
2) Will the customer get the premium service as he will pay a premium for the bike (wrt other bajaj models)
3) OR will the exisiting dealers create a new servicing line to cater new generation of vehicles with seperate staff for sales and service?
4) OR Bajaj has any plans to come with new concept showrooms which will be sandwiched between normal showroom and PBK showroom
MG/Sunny: Did Mr Bajaj speak on these issues?

Valid question. I guess, the P200NS will be serviced alongwith KTM & Ninja in PBK service stations. Only the present P200, P220 & Avengers will be removed from the "exclusivity" part.Originally posted by s_hari View PostSo far so good.
