Engine is never considered to be brain of a bike, rather the heart. Reason, the engine does not control anything by itself. It only pumps out power which makes the bike run(like blood). May be you should check if the NS holds the ECU of KTM (which is apt to be considered as a brain)Originally posted by HarishK View Post

Potential buyer of 200NS

Prateek- Since 200NS has a Liquid cool engine, so Fairing wont be hampering d cooling factor in anyway. Just that if not fixed properly, it will make rattling noise on vibrations; and also might look disproportionate with d bike!!!!!!!!
I know this beast looks good nd aggresive in its naked condition, but i hv a peculiar affinity towards Fully Faired Bike.
sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

[QUOTE=Shibadip;768707]fairing do hinders the cooling mechanism of a bike, even motogp bikes have provisions in their fairing to intake and outtake air to and fro the engine surface to maintain its temperature.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post@Shibadip :Prateek- Since 200NS has a Liquid cool engine, so Fairing wont be hampering d cooling factor in anyway. But what i have planned till now, is that i will book 200NS at d earliest; and obviously will not tamper with the bike till d warranty period(2yrs).
By then BAL will have launched a faired version, which i guess will share the same frame as of 200NS. So probably the fairing would fit onto d bike without hassle, or else have to change the tank as well.
I am not a rough rider, so i guess engine heating wont be a problem for me. However will have to make sure that air intake valve doesn't get blocked becoz of the fairing.
Senior members pls throw further light on modifying 200NS with Faired version.(whether possible or not)sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

I'm expecting 95k OTR.. anything above that might just put doubts in buyer's mind and make him go for Duke 200
, not that Bajaj would care, they will be more than happy if someone does that. I don't mean to say 30k difference in price is not small, but there could be more buyers who would think that way. I feel that if someone is ready to spend about a lakh on bike, he can easily stretch it by another 30-40k.

so don't believe them completely so soon better wait for a couple of weeks...
my brother is also very much interested in changing our old war horse caliber 115 to the new p200ns. I on the other hand is against it.
Nah, there are booking done before I called. One of my friend also said, in his area more than 3 people booked it.
I think it's not official. Now taking the bookings and make it official after starting March month.
Dman, it's not current pulsar. I repeatedly asked that whether its new pulsar launched past monday. And also they said, the bike will arrive on April. So that's what Mr. RB said, bookings in March and Sales in April..!
Anyway am going to the showroom 4 booking. Ask more when gone. Wait.sigpicUSED IN PAST: Ct100, Victor, Xcd 135For a true motorcyclist, the straight portions of the roads exist just to take him from one turn to the next!

They will charge Rs 150 - 200. Btw Will the delivery be happen in March? i'm confused between r15 and 200ns. Was dreaming duke but since the dealer/service center is only at Trivandrum, I dropped the idea. Now, the confusion reduced to r15 vs 200nsOriginally posted by J K View Post
If I booked one and gave 5,000 booking cash and when the actual price is over 1 lakh, ( am expecting in 85-90 range) can i cancel the booking and will they return the cash?Love the ride, not the destination

R15 2.0 Anytime Anyday AnywhereOriginally posted by rixBhp View PostThey will charge Rs 150 - 200. Btw Will the delivery be happen in March? i'm confused between r15 and 200ns. The reason being its tried and tested. The 200 on the other side is new technology, you can trust the reviews but a good feedback of 5 months should be able to tell you how the bike is. Since its not present and you need wheels then the R15 is anytime better. Also the 200 hasn't been made available and the reviews these days make me feel of marketing tactics and nowhere close to reality....
Thats a personal suggestion, would not be contributing much in it after this post.
The R15 has history, 200NS is just born!!!

It totally depend up on you.
R15 is a true head turner...!
Pulsar 200NS is a performer.
As told above, no reviews or test rides are out of P200ns. So wait for a review if you want the Pulsar200NS..!
Or go for R15. It's a awesome machine..!sigpicUSED IN PAST: Ct100, Victor, Xcd 135For a true motorcyclist, the straight portions of the roads exist just to take him from one turn to the next!

anyway i am not gonna let my bro exchange the old caliber 115 for the 200NS as i am much more excitedly waiting for the fairing version with projectors as i am hoping the faired version to be a little more focused and little more highway friendly with an elevated top end close to the current 220F or slightly more and also with added goodies like soft compound rubber, braided steel brake hoses similar to the 220 and also more or less with the same riding position (though a very slightly more crouched position is also always a welcome) and also if it comes with only a slightly more bumped up price tag from the 200NS model...Originally posted by J K View PostYeas Sitaram @ tody Road.

Me also Guessing its's a lower CC...Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostMy friend saw new pulsar on roads here. He said it was exactly looking like 200NS and was in same maroon-black color.
I guess they are testing lower cc version.
Remember Mr. RB told lower versions will be also released together with p200 in April??sigpicUSED IN PAST: Ct100, Victor, Xcd 135For a true motorcyclist, the straight portions of the roads exist just to take him from one turn to the next!
