Guys, really sorry for keeping you all in the dark. Somehow things have gone fine now...

I have the Pulsar 208. I just ride it less often, due to Duke's presence. The Bigbore of 208cc is in place... The performance is good as usual. I think it has gained performance in the low end atleast, compared to 180cc.

Apart from performance, the only thing distinctly noticeable between Pulsar & Duke is the handling difference. Duke is the magnetic corner craver that reminds me on every corner that I don't have knee guards on. Plus, its chassis manages to remain park-level-peaceful even at speeds of 100 kmph (ignoring the windblast, that is). Its best of all worlds, literally.

The Pulsar on the other hand is somewhat flickery at any speeds and totally unstable above 110 kmph or so. Its slightly more agile though in terms of corners & turns. But it is flickery, although due to my 6 year stint with Pulsar & R15 tyres, I am able to control the Pulsar well even through high speeds and tricky conditions. Although not quite a knee scraping motorcycle, I managed to scrape the shoe toes, center stand and was able to lean upto 1 feet away from a knee scrape sometimes.

Riding position of the rider on the Pulsar is slightly more sporty than the Duke, with lower handlebars and higher footpegs.
