But one thing..........the Bike got off 0kmph at 0.08 secs, and it went 60 kmph in 0.15secs !!! ?? 7 secs for 0-60 kmph ?
Maybe u wer just rolling off, instead of accelerating the way they measure 0-60
    Yes, the Blue bus.

And I was doing the 0-60 fine, but I messed up the launch. Then I messed checking the video as it was on my mobile (Nokia N8). I thought it was 0:09 to 0:14... but I just saw it closely now and yes, you're right. It is 0:08 to 0:15. Will do another run soon.

Also my AFR is not yet tuned completely. I just keep forgetting to to do it, due to my job.

Guys, I'm getting around 40-42 kmpl in ripping+sane riding, roughly the same as before despite the exhaust and bigbore. Performance definitely increased, but its not the huge gain I expected. And one day, when it was slightly dark, a guy revved my bike and it showed some white smoke.

Do you think I could be running rich AFR right now?

I'm currently adjusting AFR only on the basis of engine heat, which is touchably "warm" after a 5-6 km ride.

But wait, engine heat should (obviously & normally) increase due to the high compression ratio, right? So should that mean I should lean it out a bit to return to normal, is it? Any suggestions?

White smoke points to the fact that the engine is drinking engine oil. Check your oil level. Maybe that would explain the lower than expected performance.

Isn't it also a good sign of busted Rings..?

More likely it's some water has gotten inside the combustion chamber, probably via the carb, if it's a one off, then don't worry about it.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Will that actually bring out white smoke or Vapourish tinge? Even if water might be the case like you've suspected, I think it's pretty closely sealed in this bike for that to happen. I don't think so, I strongly suspect Busted Rings..! Maybe you'll know it in a couple of days when the smoke intensity increases, he can be sure of burning some good oil along with fuel too...!

If samrath is lucky enough, he can just survive about with a blown head gasket...else...

Guys, the smoke is not seen otherwise... (see my post, I told it was seen once.)
Only once during the rains, a friend revved it to 4000 rpm in neutral and some smoke was visible from the exhaust. Apart from that, its not even visible to my eyes anytime.

Would it still suggest busted rings? And which are the rings we're talking about here? Piston rings? I have run in the bike as per Joel's instructions.

^^ If its only during rains, that its rain water evaporation on the exhaust! Nothing to worry.

You can relax if it happens during highlighted part...

Btw. Yes, it is the Piston rings that I was talking about..

Read yout post which showed love for your bike which is aging with you and your learnings!!
But still it was better not to change the originality of your bike, as you love her so much!! And could have brought something better soon or later.
Never mind you are happy with this!!
What top speed do you get with this mod!

I love my bike, so I want her to be fast & different from the run of the mill stock condition. A hidden dragon, kind of. People shouldn't expect it to be so fast, that fast it should be.
Of course, I love my bike and I'm spending only on good quality performance boosting. Anyways, I've come so far that going back to stock completely is very difficult. Can't go back from here.

I haven't tested the top speed yet. Couldn't get enough stretch. But I think its damn capable for a 125-128 as the gearing is the same. Did go upto 80 kmph on the Jaipur Road immediately after the running in, and the bike sounded like a Devil.

@ dual disc and abhijeet, thanks for the replies. Now, coming back to the point, what about the AFR? Any quick way to check it without opening the spark plug?

Yes, If your exhaust pisses petrol you'll be running rich. If you're bike stalls due to piston holing then you're running very lean. If you stutter & flutter, you're somewhere in between.

C'mon Samrath, I thought reading plug chops was the only way out..

You can always go to the Emission test center and get it checked.

PSR Ji, what about Plug Chops? Will it be anytime better than Emission test centres?
