But with Bajaj adding more spark plugs in Pulsars, even plug chop is going to become difficult ...and this is because the plugs used, are of different heat range.

Yes Plug Chops is better. It gives a Good Picture of what is happening in the combustion chamber...since Samarth wanted an alternate , I suggested the emission test center.....Originally posted by dual disc 200 View Post

This thread started by Mr.Samarth on his Pulsar 208 cc upgrade is now shifting in focus, due to the Pulsar multi plug and Emission graph discussion....Request members to send PM on clarifications required.
Sorry to the thread starter for the OTs and deviation of the thread....you may shift the posts to a separate thread elsewhere or do as seen fit.Last edited by psr; 09-29-2012, 01:14 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Its performing somewhat good. I think I'm not getting the correct AFR, and only I'm to blame as I'm busy with my job and all. Still better than stock bike though. Its returning a consistent 35-45 kmpl despite some hard riding and incorrect AFR. I've had 3 full tanks to confirm this. My usual shift location is 4-6 krpm, and it increases to 8 krpm sometimes.
I wish I could've gone to Bengaluru to get this bike tuned by Joel himself, that would've sorted all issues. Now, I'm just a Commerce student and Lecturer, fueled by passion only. I can't tune it to perfection, right?
The exhaust has some minor problems, like the expanding hole. It might be replaced by Joel soon, as he's currently busy with racing and all. This expanding hole was caused after running in was complete.

Functionally, the exhaust is doing somewhat fine. I'm still doing so much better than other bikes on the road.---

And I got the oil replaced. Will replace once more after 500 kms.
The bike is doing fine so far, its better after the oil change. Performance is good, vibrations might have increased slightly after the mod, I think.
Guys, I was too stressed that day (Friday the 13th) to take my own decision. And the mechanic did add a cloth below it, some time after the pic was taken.
@ Prince: No, its not yet run in. Its barely about 70 kms now. My college is just about 5 kms. I wish to keep my bike for the good times and memories I spent with her, specially the college times when I used to study. Will get a bigger one sooner than later, but won't sell it.
I do wish it prevails after all this. Will search for a good oil flusher.
Friend, You've had overheating problems on your bike?

Aargee, Appreciate your keenness for all things related to Joel and Race Concepts. But it would be helpful if you can highlight the other part of the story as well.Originally posted by aargee View PostUse discretion when ordering anything from India - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...tml#post812457

the reply to your first link http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...tml#post875992
second link:- sorry, I am not sure who Mr X is. I find that post very wayward.. Its got X (i hate equating x), no pictures of the bike (Pictures of the bike on the airstrip will be convincing). It could be Mr Y trying to bring down the credibility of Mr X so as to make a market for his imported products. who knows!!
@navileinad9102:- Not just Race Concepts. This post, http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...tml#post875810, will be your cue for any modification you intend to make.
I feel Samarth is presenting everything here with a neutral view. He has taken that leap of faith. I am sure he would put forth any and all negatives related to the product.
My say- if you dont like what you ride today, but dont intend to pick up a better bike any sooner. Then such mods will bring a huge smile every time you ride the bike. It needs constant maintenance though.Last edited by anilupadhya; 10-10-2012, 12:49 PM.

Pls...don't mislead the group, I was stating India as such & not anyone in particular. As a matter of fact, I'm only warning ppl against UNRELIABLE mods & not against reasonable & reliable performance mods.Originally posted by anilupadhya View PostAargee, Appreciate your keenness for all things related to Joel and Race Concepts
Other part of story? Which story & what about it?Originally posted by anilupadhya View PostBut it would be helpful if you can highlight the other part of the story as well

hi,
i also installed FFE and BB kit on my p200, but top speed not increased a bit, and lots of vibration also. asked to joel he said to change the carb from p220's carb. but its costly idea and also auto chock will be issue. so have you upjet or did some thing else or running on stock carb?
bike is quick and fast but still now its p210 so its speed should increas a little. i also just changed the clutch plates but no gain. should i try upjet or change the p220's carb?

I guess you need a 32mm carb for better fueling and air ratio.. the current stock jets are not able to provide the right amount of AFR hence, the vibration and may be flat spots between rev range if i am correct.Originally posted by shravanchoudhary9 View Posthi,

I'm using Stock carb. I upjetted from 117.5 to 118, but also changed AFR using the carb screw. Mine's good at acceleration, and I didn't get the right road to get to the top end. Its like a tiger on the roads. Growls like anything! Pillions on the bikes upfront look back to see what will crash into them. And all this is when I never exceed 6000 rpm. Sound is bassy, but the performance is also good.Originally posted by shravanchoudhary9 View Posthi,

You might not get optimal results until you re-jet or tune the carb. I did some more tuning myself, although I'm still searching for a machine showing the CO data. The Bajaj guys had one but they screwed it. Changing to P220's carb is a better idea, once and for all.
I will also change mine, once I'm a bit free from my job, and Joel from his races.---
