The NEW Race Tuned Pure Performance Carburetor , specially tuned for Street and Track duty, giving RAW power from the Low to Mid and makes the engine a High Speed Screamer....The gook on the NEW carb is because it had been field tested and all the Track dust can be seen ...RC delivers what it promises.

Yes Sir, I too was tempted to post this image on the RTR thread but did not for the same reason. Anyway the Gentleman whom Divya Sharan and road_ripper were advising has gone through the last pages and realised what the other side of RC is.

And also links to all the informative posts by you, @psrji, @abhimanyu31 etc. This should really help in reading only the required portion of this 83 page thread!

Posts above by Divya & road_ripper clearly indicate that this thread is not fully achieving its purpose
Also editing the name of the thread would be great. Powerhouse fz18 is a bit misleading.

This problem with New people is seen all over Xbhp. They just read a couple of posts and assume things...worse still some don't even make the effort to read anything and just start to post as a know all....The worst will be from a noob who reads everything(so he will say) and still asks questions on same things ...why ? because he wanted to post and find out what is the reaction from members. So we have every kind of people here , and we have to guide them if they want it.....those who do not want our share of knowledge MUST be left alone to learn later.

Dude are you sure you want to go ahead? have you seen the thread Powerhouse FZ18? and he says "yes he is one happy RC customer & review is positive". The thing is he has completely missed last few pages of thread.
The Title says Power house FZ18 and if one opens the thread page 1 all he says is shower of praises about RC and most of them have not seen last few pages of this thread. There needs to be a new thread opened to make everyone aware with title like RC long term review/ RC woes or something like that to reach bigger audience
I know brother. That's why I asked him to read the entire thread from page 1, but he read only page number 1.
We have had many threads loathing RC products right from post#1, but this thread shows how the feelings change. First the owner is happy/un-informed and how that happiness turns sour. Its a full book worthy turn of events.

I don't blame him. That's why I shared it here to know how we can change this mentality.

I didn't have the honour of getting my bike tooned. I upgraded to a bigger bore - from a CBZ to a ZMA, based on inputs from you and others. If I had tinkered about with the CBZ engine, I might have a story to relate here as well . Thankfully, I knew little last year (and still know very little). However, this much I do know, I will not subject my engine to any of these tortures.

I agree, I am not dragging in anyone's name, but just pointing out that there was no experience shared.

I do have a request to other members, please DO share your experiences - but in the way @shv18 did, with notes, pictures and clear examples of what happened etc. Please do not resort to name calling or mud slinging, for that is not the purpose of the thread at all.
It is inspiring ...... Like the "Tooner" which seems more appropriate.

In discussions like this it is better to leave members who are not coming forward to share details of their experience, since all of us Live by Our Choice and everyone is entitled to his/her own view.
This thread is all about members who had come forward to share their experience voluntarily, and we should not drag in anyone ,who is not willing to share for their own specific reason...
Let us honor the feelings of others in this regard, and continue with our sharing. ....."all about Tuning ,with bullet proof mods, with better than Stock reliability."

And there is no hard and fast rule that if a person is allowed to start a thread for a company he "has" to be officially involved. If this would have been the case, every mod should have received free "goodies" and person who got it, should have been happy with his tooned bike, but he upgraded.

PS: Is the tooner providing any warranty for his big bore or does he promise money back for unsatisfied customers?
