Alright, here's something to brighten this thread up...I have news from a Yamaha insider (please don't ask me who). It is confirmed that Yamaha already has a 250 ready&is just waiting for Bajaj to launch Kawasaki.

Also confirmed that R-15 performance kit is ready (Daytona)&all the rumors are correct, they have an ECU remap&are working on the tyre supposedly! He is confident it will generate around 22bhp.

No idea of launch date&pricing for both of the above.

Well not sure, but did Yammy show case a 250 glady or a FZ in the one of the AutoExpo's a few years back (if im not wrong the expo in 06 where the 220 was also showcased for the first time!)....?

It was the Fazer 250. Why would yamaha launch a single cylinder 21bhp bike to compete a 33bhp twin from Kawasaki?

If its the FZ in a 250cc variant with oodles of torque, I'd love to have one in my garage!
