i dont thnk even Bajaj themselves have any clue of what they would price ninja for....remember how everytime the quotes have been increasing from officials????? from 1.75L to around 3L, these guys are unbeleivable

In that case, the '08 model is carbed&the '09 model is fuel injected. There is a price difference of 500$ too. So will he be giving discount to the first 200 customers?

today i went to the probiking centre again. The official there said that initially the bikes were supposed to be launched during december this year. But it has been preponed to june-july(confirmation yet to come).
The first 200 units would be FI as well although that would be 2008 models.(i wonder how that is possible)
And i think that this would end the speculations in this thread guys about the baby ninja which is priced at........ 2 LAKHS (yes you read it right), when i asked him whether it would go up to 2.50 he said not beyond 2.10 . I thought that guy was joking but when i asked it again he said the price was confirmed on the letter from BAJAJ.
Will the fight for the most awaited 250 begin now???

I was searching for information on this bike, and what I have found that, both 2008/09 models dont have FI!. Is there any link which says that Ninja 250 has FI?

Maybe Localisation of some parts? Atleast, the Saree Guard & Front Numberplate are localised 100%!

thanks bro, actually we have to thank the probiking guys, last time i rememeber him saying to search the internet for ninja 250 related news.
He had no idea about such a bike before a few months.
And the funny part is that ignorance will always remain a part of the people at these places whether its Bajaj or yamaha or let it be any other brands as well. For instance one of our friends wanted to buy an r15. His father was willing to buy him the bike at that price. But when his dad enquired at the yamaha outlet listen to what the guy said,"sir, this is a sports bike, and its too dangerous for an 18 year old to ride". I mean what the . Atleast that seems to be changing slowly(i mean very slowly). This instance was said to me by my friend HARI (he is the one taking the bike)who i guess is there in your orkut friends list.
NOTE: I dont mean to insult any bikes whatso ever.

Oh yes, sir, your dreams are sure rocketing through! Hold on; let the bloody motorbike get launched first! It's been a decade (as far as motorcycling goes) that Bajaj said it will launch the Ninja 250 in India! It is yet to see the light of the day.
