a revamped fz with that 250 motor would be more viable because

    1. it will compete with the likes of zma, 220,menace.
    2. everyone will not be able to pay 2-2.5 L for the baby ninja.

this seems more practical to me......

        • nice 250 bikes, but i agree many wont buy well thats the purpose too, but a 250cc for Bangalore, i would rather stick to 150. Touring is hardly on my charts as of now, so i do not see sense of 250cc in traffic like Bangalore!

Delhi - DND - Gurgaon guys would enjoy the adrenaline.

Ok If This Kit Is Fitted On R15 Will The Low End Torque Improve ?

where art thou from? somalia?? duh!

Im not a Bangalore born like most bangaloreans... but I see more than 101 reasons to ride a higher cc bikes in Bangalore.

Fz 250cc would be great, infact would justify the look of Fz. I will surely trade my Fz-16 for Fz-25

dude i stay in koramangala, and traffic is my god a damn torture here, i don't think i can rev 250cc to the required speed i need, even if i did i would have to bring it back, and if i plan to go to airport to enjoy that, they have interceptors there nowadays. i still feel 250cc is for enthusiasts and india is a niche market for it.

                  • There would not be so much CC difference between the ZMA/P220 and a 250 that'd come in. Do you think they lack any low-end grunt to take you through the traffic hassle?

As long as you are not looking at track focused peaky engines like the Yamaha R series, you can go about any traffic without trouble.

Bang on target. Travelling in this part of the city is a major pain these days unless its early morning or late night. Someone I know got caught by the Interceptors on the road to the new airport & had to pay up though they were slightly over the speed range. Those buggers have proper speed guns these days & you cant argue with technology.

If you have a 250cc mill under your bum, doesn't mean you have to rev its tits off every time you ride.

Infact your riding will be a lot more relaxed compared to the average 150cc commuter who would have to use his bike's entire rev range. You can use the full power of the 250cc mill when you tour.

Going by your statement, even the ZMA/P220/R15 are more or less un-rideable in traffic!

                        • even if people can ride 220 cc bike and 350cc enfield in the traffic 250cc wont bother you much

hmmmm..... I stayed in koramangala for 7 years till 1999, used to be a heaven then.

You cant go beyond 80 kmph in most big cities, Its not legal either. With 250, you can enjoy the torque, there is a certain degree of gracefulness when enjoy the torque at a lower speed ala bullet. There are loads of CCDs outside the city to check your topspeed.

If its Fz-250, torque is guranteed

+1!! I second that. Low end torque is as such quite impressive in the present FZ16.
